I like simple places where the focus is more on food. Canteen like but still a huge menu and good sushi .

Great Lunchspot in Mitte. Often crowded : takes a bit time until you get a table and the food is served - good thing to do: ordering directly when you are seated;) But great dishes and free green tea !

You may have to wait for a while to get a table during lunchtime. Place is quite canteen-like but the food is good with reasonable prices.

Ume Menu + Che-Ro Rice for 7,50 Euro is the best deal in Berlin! + free sensha tea ! Great authentic japanese taste! Defenatly my favourite lunch place, and also good for casual dining with friends.

Freshest sushi I've ever tasted! Come during lunch time and try the Sake (salmon ) menu. I get very grumpy if I'm not having it once a week!

The sushi is awesome, but take the opportunity to try some of the other great japanese dishes . Try a Don bowl, Hijiki seaweed or, if truly adventurous, Natto .

This is a fair sushi canteen with some hints of traditional Japan. Mostly it's an affordable place to eat in this part of Mitte.

Really good traditional sushi in an authentic lunch / fast food type of an environment with long tables.

I was shocked that they have pretty good negitoro-don (raw tuna , onions and wasabi on rice ). I haven't even seen it anywhere else in Berlin and wouldn't have expected much quality. But 10 euros...

This is not good Japanese food . Honestly if this is one of the best places Berlin has to offer, don't eat Japanese in this city . Bad service, luke-warm food, generic fast-food mall food feel to it.
