Last Resort Grill

I have been going here for years and have yet to have a bad meal. This is my favorite bar and restaurant in Athens , hands down. I recommend Last Resort to anyone looking for great food and fun venue!

Fantastic. Entrees were hard to choose from, but the filet with shrimp cake was phenomenal. Sitting by the outside bar while waiting on a table made the wait a pleasure.

Wonderful and quick service despite it being packed (it was Mother's Day). Hostess and server were super friendly . Great dirty martini and southwestern pasta dish with delicious goat cheese ! Go there!

Try Cayrum , its a dark rum aged 3 years and then infused with all natural ginger and honey . Its great as a chilled shot, on the rocks, ginger ale/beer, juices or Red Bull . Theres nothing like it! Read more

Hasn’t disappointed yet & even on game day, prices are affordable for a nicer restaurant . Get there early through. Often big crowds. Meatloaf sandwich is good for lunch . Wife likes fancier options.

Make sure park in the right place or the Athens Police will ticket you and have your car towed. Found out the hard way tonight. $140 for towing and $50 ticket. Yay Happy Anniversary to us!

This was one of the first live music bars in downtown Athens. The venue has hosted many music legends like Jimmy Buffet , the B52s, and Leon Redbone.

The Vegetable Patch may be THE best Vegetarian Meal I've ever eaten. The best marinated portobello I've ever eaten and put two mashed potatoes (sweet potato and yukon gold)... Genius.

Great food and service. I had shrimp and grits , which were excellent. Wife had crab cake Benedict , which she loved.

This is where you go when you feel like eating quiche . Seriously, very consistent pastas , meats, and quiches , with bright side salads . And they have a huge dessert case.

All of it is wonderful. I have yet to be disappointed. The tres leches cake is delicious!!

Who'd have thought that goat cheese on a burger with peach BBQ sauce would be this good.

Try the praline chicken...had my doubts about ordering it but the combo tastes great, pecans are an excellent addition.

The crab cake plate for lunch is killer. Also comes with a side salad . Get the homemade Vidalia bacon dressing !

The new lunch burger is absolutely incredible...I order it everytime! The goat cheese and peach BBQ on it are amazing!

Cornbread Crusted Trout and Caper gravy that goes with the Salmon & Grits !

Pork hash was great for brunch ! Potatoes had texture, eggs could've been a little less salted

Food is fantastic. First time here for lunch and the meat loaf was great.

The Spinach Salad is very good! The fried green tomatoes are cut a little thick and not as tender as they could be.

Go at lunch time! The menu is somewhat limited, but it's less than half the price and is a great place to meet with friends.
