Very good service , We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala , for Starter potato roll was delicious.. pilau rice Kind of small portion and They serve Oven bread and called it "Chapathi" !! Overall 8.5/10
My go-to Indian restaurant in Central London. I like the samosas they do as a starter. Their peshwari naan is very sweet and hits the spot if you have a rich curry , like a chicken jalfrezi. Top staff
Definitly the Best Indian restaurant in London ! I have been addict for 20 years and never miss a go when in London ! Also Famous in Belgium ;-)
The UK's oldest north Indian restaurant . Great atmosphere. Wonderful naan - try the bullet one. Also try the stuffed aubergine for an authentic taste of the Punjab.
Great Indian food . So happy I rediscovered it after many years. Will return again and again. Plus: they still have pumpkin puri on the menu! ❤️❤️❤️
Absolutely the best Indian food I’ve had in London. Dishoom is fun, but the quality of food at Punjab is worlds better. The achari murgha is amazing!
By far my favourite indian restaurant for over 8 years. Brilliant staff , delicious food, never ever disappointed! I must thank them all for the culinary pleasure they give their visitors...
Haven’t seen cleaner plates after a meal in some time. Dishroom down the street makes a splash, but Punjab is the real deal. Chicken Jalfrezi outstanding and the Bullet Naan brings delicious heat.
Vegetable Biryani is very good and fulfilling. I had it with naan bread and I was very satisfied with my dinner . Staff is very accommodating and personable. Manuel will have a baby soon: congrats!!
When Dishoom is swamped (which it will be), head up to Punjab for a bit more history & down to earth flare. The "Hot" dishes are not unbearable, which is nice. Huge menu!
Indian is not usually "my cup of tea ", but this place might change it. Tasteful Chicken Tikka Masala accompanied by a Cobra beer to 'flush it down'. Sides: nan bread and samosa . Very friendly staff !
Good food! Friendly and quick staff , interested in their guests. All curries where great, and we loved the palak paneer with naan . Mmm!
Fantastic Indian restaurant . Perfect food and service. An experience worth to wait for.
In my experience probably one of the best Indian restaurants in London.... Very good value as well !
Delicious!!! Wonderful chicken , naan and more. Excellent service , make you feel like family.
Check out Punjab as it was featured on Delicious Destinations for Punjab serves some of the best chicken tikka masala in London and has been doing it for more than 60 years. Read more
Definitely worth a visit. All the curries are great but my recommendations are the Chicken Tikka Masala and Acharri Murgha.
A little too hyped for sure. Can't tell if it was better than in the US cause some places are pretty comparable. Doesn't come close to the real Indian curries though???? achari fish , chicken tikka ✋????
Absolutely delicious... Especially the potatoes with chickpeas . Yum. The staff was super-friendly and accommodating, too. I'd come back here in a heartbeat!
Been coming to Punjab for years and it still impresses me! Start off with a cheese naan and try the korma ! Don't forget the mango lassi !
Traditional and authentic Indian, typically great service and tasty food. Will return again when I'm back in London.
If you like Northern Indian, you can't go wrong with this one. Friendly vibe , polite staff and amazing dishes.
Good Northern Indian food . Great grills. Butter chicken is rocking!
Always excellent food and speedy attentive service make this place a go-to for food in Covent Garden .
Pumpkin curry was so good. Inexpensive and pretty good Indian food all around
We arrived 10:50 and the accept to have us . Staff were friendly and the food was average but the portion size is smaller than usual size in other Indian restaurants .
The best indian Punjab restaurant in London
Amazing curry house in the ????of London. Great reasonably priced food. Staff were a bit grumpy but it was late-ish.
Get the Chicken Tikka Special. You won’t be disappointed. Don’t forget to order some sauce to go with it.
Very friendly staff . The place was packed but we didn't have to wait awfully long for the food. The food was very good and freshly made .
Service is quick and food is delicious. Sometimes it looks like there’s a queue while it’s just people smokong by the heater
The chicken in the Tikka Masala was perfectly cooked. Best execution of the dish I've ever had.
Fantastic Indian cuisine . Fast and attentive service , extremely well priced and delicious. Highly recommended.
After 5' wait outside, we got a table. Attentive & fast service . Delicious. However, the bill couldn't be paid fast enough...
Great Indian food , reasonable prices, decent portions, friendly service . Can't go wrong.
lamb korma and butter chicken were perfect :)
Don't be put off by the central location or the 1975 decor. Make no mistake this is a heavyweight curry house . Methi Karahi and chilli naan .
Nice and smooth chicken tikka masala , just the right amount of spiciness for my non-Indian taste.
Best chicken tikka masala I've ever had. The butter chicken was also excellent.
Awesome chicken tikka masala ! Big portion for a good price of £9.95.
The vast selection and speedy service. You may have to queue for 5 minutes at peak times. The menu quotes are funny.
FAST service . Depending on what you order you can be in and out very quickly. Don’t expect any time between courses.
Paneer Mukhani with Tandoori Chapatti/Roti is a delicious combo. Service is really quick as well .
Delicious! Best indian restaurant I went.
Great traditional Indian restaurant , I wouldn't have used whole thighs for the butter chicken
Fantastic curries , decent prices, and tightly packed seating. Skip the lassi , papadum, and chutneys though — they're nothing special.
Great food and excelent service! Dont't miss this place if you are looking for indian food
Excellent dishes, central location and nice service. Highly recommended if you want real Indian cuisine !!
Really nice Indian place. Tasty and authentic dishes . Worth a visit
