RAW Gelände

RAW, short for "Reichsbahnausbesserungswerk," a former state-owned rail repair and maintenance facility, is a vibrant cultural center in the trendy and alternative Friedrichshain borough.

One of the few remainders of the old Berlin underground scene. Full of tourists during the weekend. Cool bars , beer garden , climbing hall etc anyway! Watch out at night, lots of crime recently...

This is where Berlin gets creative. With art , food, furniture , buildings, music , movies and even money. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Very vibrant outdoor walking space. Tons of great street art . Definitely worth a daytime stroll or to feel the night time energy.

Very cool place to just hang out. On weekends there is a cheap fleamarket . You can find some very good food and interesting events and parties almost every night.

Artsy ! Nowadays you can find bars , a climbing wall, an open-air cinema , a fleamarket and much more. Highly recommended <3

Everything in this area is great, great bar , vibey hang out, good times

Weak attempts at street art , concealed commercialism, scattered hobo's, puncturing glass and accesible biergartens spinning g-funk.
