Great spot for a glass of wine , or wine and appetizers . We went in around 5:30 and had no problem getting a table - but the bar area was already full, per usual.
The Patty Melt : grass-fed beef ground in-house; sharp cheddar nicely melted; onions cooked to an extra-dark, and pickles (from cucumbers grown on the roof of the restaurant ) make an impression.
Really good food menu, and happy hour oysters . However the cocktails are overprice (around $14). T all drinks are free and the technics used are not very modern (muddle old-fashioned)
For a Halloween buzz, grab the Day of the Dead. Mezcal , dry vermouth , sweet vermouth and Mexican mole bitters make up this Manhattan . Shaved dark chocolate floats on top for an added treat. $14.
Down a few steps resides this cozy yet spacious restaurant , where you'll dine on seasonal, local dishes like roasted chicken and the restaurant 's signature burger .
Oysters all night long! Delicious and $1 only. Love the vibe of this place, and West Village in general. Read some poems on the wall while you're at it :)
Best grilled cheese I've ever had in my life, and I've had my FAIR share of grilled cheeses . I would eat here every week if I was closer.
Charming, cozy hideaway for a low-key cocktail or a quiet-ish dinner through the winter months. Great bartenders .
Seasonal and local cooking with an emphasis on good produce. We're big fans of the vegetarian French onion soup .
Excellent wine for happy hour . Great low key spot with a large restaurant space in back
Every Tuesday, executive chef John Mooney serves a special entree of crispy soft-shell crab with basil and fennel — grown in his aeroponic rooftop garden — along with grapefruit and hazelnuts .
Call well in advance to reserve the Naked Lady Room , a private dining room behind a fake wall . With space for up to 6 people, it features exposed brick, a big chandelier & naked lady wallpaper .
Recommended by my friend Sophia R., who lives in the neighborhood and would certainly know. She says "It's the only place in the Village that hasn't been discovered yet."
Cozy digs. Homemade buratta and the clams made excellent snacks . Order the salmon over charred cauliflower medium rare
On Valentines Day, ask for The Naked Lady Room , a sexy secret room behind a fake wall right off the bar in the main dining room. The secluded table seats 2-6 and features naked lady wallpaper .
Really interesting cocktails and nice beer selection . Good for dates ! Never felt too crowded , but had a good crowd.
Fun place. Comfortable booths for groups of various sizes. A bit loud , but pretty tasty and overall pretty good.
Try to snag the back (and fairly well hidden) room if it's available if you have a small group of friends.
FUN happy hour spot . Great charcuterie and cheese platters and good wine list .
A cool spot, great service, great food and the cocktails are awesome.
$1 Oysters + Amazing Vibes! Chat with Kelly if you get the chance! She's awesome!!
Great food. Try fresh baked pretzels . Grilled veggies . Short ribs . And the the place is filled with beautiful women.
$1 oysters at the bar , all day every day
Hard to see from the street, but it's downstairs and the sign is small. Don't miss it!
Went with the burrata then hanger steak . Good service . Left very pleased.
Phil the heat. Also happy hour M-F with $1 oysters and $2 off cocktails .
Decent cocktails , cozy for a table, upbeat for a bar , best of both worlds
They grow food on the roof! That's so cool - and delicious.
You can get the Grilled Lamb Chops as an Entree... They're huge!
Delicious meal. Try the pop corn panna cotta for dessert . Sounds a little strange, but its perfect. Light and not too sweet.
The Surf and Turf . The special everywhere Saturday Night.
They have a basil watermelon cocktail that's delicious. Prefer it for drinks. Dinner was good but the drinks are better.
Tuna nachos were so good we ordered another round!
Phenomenal happy hour . 1 dollar oysters , 8 cocktails , 4 beers .. Killing it
Try the Grilled Cheese Sandwich - With raclete cheese , truffle oil and farm fresh egg . Whoa.
Nice location, kind personnel, excellent food
Cozy , quiet , great drinks
Chicken was good. Tuna tartar and the Chocolate brownie .
Mulled wine really hits the spot on a freezing night in NYC!
Shhh...call ahead to reserve a seat in the Naked Lady Room behind a fake wall at the end of the bar
5:30-7:30 happy hour , $5 beer and $6 wine
Best brown bag apple pie I have ever had! Definitely recommend it!
Booths are great. Steak is small Get the pretzels monkfish or chicken and peanut butter ice cream sandwich .
$1 oysters at the bar 24/7. Stay after 2pm and you're in or a solid dance party
The ambiance here is fabulous. Try the fried oysters and the house-made burrata !
