Good waffles . Good coffee . Ordered cheese grits and got grits with a slice of cheese . :( skip that. Order the waffles and eggs and you'll be good to go! Friendly staff . Sit at the bar !

Nice little diner . I ordered blueberry pancakes and they did not skimp. They had American cheese for eggs when most place only have cheddar . Place and ordered and ordered a second to go. I love eggs

How yummy! They get slammed but they are sure to keep up with their customers. I got their waffles ,egg and hashbrowns . Their waffles were a hit!! I suggest going for a quick meal before touring .

The waffles , pancakes and eggs are delicious! As a Jersey girl transplant, I needed to find a diner I could call home. The service is quick and efficient! This is part of my lunch rotation!

Great service, but if cleanliness is your thing be sure to not look around. I got pancakes with scrambled eggs and bacon and it was good--typical diner food !

This is the greatest little hole in the wall . Located across the street from the Ford Theatre and next door to the house where Lincoln Died. Great food, Great Prices and Great Workers.

It’s a little known fact that President Lincoln ate his last breakfast here before he died. Lincoln Waffle House is an institution here and DC.

Don't judge this place from its exterior. It can be deceiving as the food is a lot more appealing than its facade.... Fast service too!

If you're looking for a quick non-touristy bite in a tourist neighborhood , this would do! The waffles are thin, and the service is quick.

Bit of a dive old time diner . But the folks are fun and the food is pretty good. The banana pancakes were excellent!

Go for the chicken and waffles . You'll consume a day's worth if calories in one sitting. Wash it down with a grape soda . It's only appropriate. Very friendly service !

Best corned beef hash in DC! A true greasy spoon. Go for a breakfast here and sit at a common bar table.

Sure, it's a tourist trap. But it's also one of the few authentic old-school dining experiences left in downtown.

Very tight seating. Not comfortable for me. But take your food to go and find a bench and people watch .

Local place to go if you are a tourist in the area during the morning hours. I don't think I would go here if I lived here. You will be full for the entire day.
