Thiis is a POPULAR eatery for me & my crew. We rock Mike Anderson's on a regular basis & NOTHING compares (No disrespect to Sonny Bryan's, Big Al's, or Dickey's - we just don't toss money your way).

Be sure to try the Jalapeno BBQ sauce . Saturdays aren't super busy. Mike was working the counter when we came in...great guy.

Lunch only (get there before 2:30pm sharp). You can get 3 meats on your dinner plate . Don't miss double breaded okra . This sets the bbq high mark for me.

The frito pie is excellent!!

I found the brisket to be quite dry and the ribs a little bland. I like the atmosphere, but not even the excellent jalapeño sauce could fully mask the meat's mediocrity. Also way too expensive .

Quality has dropped badly today: maybe this has been going on for a while, I haven't been here in quite some time.Ribs were bland and tasteless: brisket tasted like roast beef , pulled pork horrible.
