Incredibly gorgeous views of the coast, with ample wildlife to spot! The hike is easy and flat, but not very shaded so bring sunscreen and a hat during summer days.
Make sure you wear hiking shoes or boots . It's a nice trail but a little dusty for the white jeans and tennis shoes I had on. There is a great museum as well . If you are not into hiking this is A-OK!
Great hiking , beaches , and photo opportunities . Park on 1 near the entrance if you don't want to pay the $10 parking fee. http://instagram.com/p/uCz_gSNJsY/ and http://instagram.com/p/uC3f7KtJv6/
The perfect family friendly day trip: Point Lobos offers numerous trails - including the one to Whaler's Cove where you're most likely to spot seals which is relatively flat and short .

Excellent little park with lots of short fun trails . If the lots are full park on highway 1 and just walk in - it’s not as far as it seems on the map. Head to the south trail and work clockwise.
