We love slurping every last drop of this fiery Bun Bo Hue Dong Ba - a noodle soup made with spicy lemongrass , sliced beef , and cured pork .
The delightfully crispy Fried Vegetarian Egg Rolls are stuffed with potato , taro , vermicelli , dried mushrooms , and tofu alongside delicious homemade fish sauce .
Nothing like the savoriness of a Bánh mì sandwich w/ tender Vietnamese bbq pork , topped w/ cucumber , cilantro , pickled carrots , jalapeños , homemade egg butter and paté spread all on a flaky baguette .
Before Pho 14, D.C. proper only had a few spots for pho . But most lacked the choose-your-own-adventure menu of beef cuts. Pho 14 was the first to offer variety and soon expanded to three locations. Read more
The veggie pho was very disappointing. Broth made w apples ? You might think that sounds yummy but it's not. Head up to Pho Viet - BEST veggie pho around. Get the half spicy lemongrass broth. :)
Great Vietnamese food in Columbia Heights. Not at cheap as in Cali but great options and awesome nightly and happy hour deals during the week. Highly recommended the $5 pho Fridays!
The pot of tea ($2) is a terrific way to wrap up your meal. It has some light honey sweetness to it and it well balanced.
I'm so sad I didn't know about this place sooner. Get the classic beef pho with beef broth and finish with Vietnamese iced coffee
I love this and their other location. They're super quick and super friendly (not to mention their Pho is spot on).
Best pho in DC. Get the beef round, raw - it cooks perfectly to medium rare in the soup !
the best pho in DC for sure. Large servings are REALLY large!
The only place in the District that charges a carry out fee but it was worth the hassle. Best pho this side of NW DC
Order the large Pho for just $1.00 more and take some home for later. Also try the mango smoothie , it's not too sweet and has yummy mango chunks in it. Read more
Ask for their chili paste to add to your Pho , you won't regret it, it's more flavorful than Sri Racha.
Although this name is pho , they serve the different kind of vietnamese tradition food , which call 'hu tiu'. This might the the lack of fresh pho in the us
Authentic pho . Not a nice fancy done out but certainly worth the meal.
Well they are supposed to be one of best but the fact that they still use MSG makes it drop to the bottom of the list, IMO.
Best pho in DC. Not as good as the real thing, but still pretty tasty.
For a delich veggy option try the tofu with veggies on vermicelli noodles and add a veggie spring roll ! Yum
Forgot Paul Pierce-- Pho 14's adorably packaged Iced Vietnamese Coffee is the truth. Sweet, milky , addictive.
Vegan pho is delicious! Durian smoothie must be an acquired taste... That I have not yet acquired.
You can buy containers of extra broth for like $2. Take it home with you.
Best Pho in the city . It's always so good.
Have a stawberry smoothie with your Pho . It helps you really appreciate the heat of the siracha sauce .
Excellent iced Vietnamese coffee .
Excellent Pho ! #7 Pho
Try the Grilled Beef with Vermicelli (Bún thịt nướng) - Delicious everytime
Try Pho Chay! (Veggie Pho ) I didn't believe it til I tried it; it's time you became a believer too!
While it's considered decent pho for DC, why do they use so much salt? Nothing like real pho .
Order a large Pho , try the #16. Pho 14 is expanding the dining room this fall (2011).
Order an iced vietnamese coffee to go as a sweet dessert for your trip home :D
Pho chay, Veggie Pho was legit...so try it! You won't regret it =)
Good food. Neat restaurant . Great service.
Try the Pho with soft tendon . It may seem strange but it's really quite delicious!
#44 (veggie vermicelli ) plus add an egg and add broccoli . Avocado smoothie , too.
Some of the best pho in the city . Try #14 with lots of sriracha .
I don't recall the name of the appetizer I ordered, but the texture and taste wasn't for me. However, my Uncles loved it. Check the photo I posted for a visual.
Beef pho is a must
Love the pho . Skip the Vietnamese iced coffee .
Napkins suck. Order a drink to go. A nice CSD is a tasty treat on your walk home.
Stay away!!! Worst banh mi I ever had. It was served on a hoogie roll!!! Horrible... Every fish we ate was just bad. Thing of it was I really wanted to like this place.
Goodness in a bowl :-)
Decent phò but I prefer Phò Viet further up 14th.
Pho 14 just updated their menu to have a variety of dishes. Be sure to expand beyond just the pho !
Love: the veggie/tofu pho . Hate: no alcoholic beverages .
The pho is good
veggie pho ... soo yum amd full of veggies
Best veggie pho I've had in a long time.
Beware of trying to enjoy a hot delicious bowl of pho when its freezing outside. You might be waiting in line *outside*!
Being Vietnamese, I can say Pho here are bad, too much anus or cinnamon when they cook the broth.only sandwiches and chicken soup are decent
Amazing! Best place hands down. They go pretty Spicy, so if you're not a fan I'd recommend going mild. - Katarina Katsma
great broth and generous meat portions. - Stacey
Have tried several bubble tea flavors, and they've all been excellent. Sandwiches and noodle bowls are delicious. Coming from a college budget, it's a nice occasional treat. Owners are personable. - Clarissa Ren
Despite the horrific lines, I wouldn't go anywhere else for my pharmacy! Really nice and helpful staff. - Sienna Girgenti
