The McNichols Building, a historic Greek Revival building at Civic Center Park , served as a library in 1909. Today the building is home to various arts and cultural exhibitions .

The building is central venue for the 2010 Biennial of the Americas, an international event that celebrates the culture , ideas and people of the Western Hemisphere, hosted by the City of Denver.
The centerpiece of the building will be "The Nature of Things," an exhibition that brings together the art and energies of 24 contemporary artists from North, South and Central America.
It was fabulous. Possibly the best venue I could ever imagine for my wedding.
The building opened in 1909 as The Carnegie Library , Denver's first public library . It was designed in the Greek Revival style by Albert Ross of New York.
In 1955, the Denver Water Board moved their offices into the building, removing the original front entrance and modifying the interior to accommodate office space.
The building will also play host to KidsPatch, a children's workshops, as well as talks, panels and discussions.
The McNichols Building will be open Tuesdays-Sundays in July. Admission is $9.
