The Cacio e Pepe comes served in a WHEEL OF CHEESE! This place will inspire you to want to cook this at home. Super simple, super delicious.

Service, food, atmosphere... everything - impeccable! Michelin recommended for a reason. Cacio e Pepe pasta is out of this world, just like in Rome. So is duck ragu pasta & burrata appetizer . 5 stars

Sam Winnick

You can tell pasta is fresh but nothing is amazing. Cacio e Pepe is presented in a cheese wheel and looks amazing but is too salty. Eggplant appetizer is good. Duck ragu pasta is good too.

RC

This unassuming neighborhood gem does its namesake dish stunningly, and hides a beautiful garden to enjoy it in. The prices reflect their higher quality of dishes.

Peter Blumberg

Nice, homey atmosphere with tight quarters. Order the ... cacio e pepe, of course. The number of excellent neighborhood pasta joints in NYC always amazes me.

Jo

The cacio e pepe is amazing! It comes in a wheel of pecorino .

Tim Julien

The Cacio e Pepe is great. Super cheesy though - they literally toss it in a giant wheel of pecorino at the table

Kevin Seto

Obviously the pasta served from a cheese wheel is excellent, but don’t miss the branzino which is also a delicious dish.

Sasha Valle

The cacio e pepe is not to be missed, but the fettuccine limone doesn't fall behind. Best enjoyed in the garden , of course.

Michelle C

Great food, especially the namesake. The problem is that they only take cash or Amex. Who accepts cards but only Amex?? ???????? There is an ATM in the back but it didn't work for my date.

Racky Ross

Try the cacio e pepe pasta , a traditional roman dish that's e excellent here. Good appetizers and wines too.

Julie Soscia

All the cheese ! This is a super popular and Instagrammable spot for cheese wheel pasta . Food is tasty and filling.

Kate Furman

gotta get the cacio e pepe - served directly from the wheel of cheese ! (oh and ask for extra cheese on top)

Carolyn Zentgraf

Best pasta in Manhattan! Had the garden to ourselves for our annoversary, so the waitress did a photo shoot! Above & beyond.

Meg O'Brien

The meatballs are incredible. Someone should order the buccatini all'ametriciana. Apart from the cacio e pepe dish, it is the best thing on the menu. In the summer, eat in the back garden !

Donny Dont

Meatballs , the namesake pasta dish, tiramisu , ripasso and limoncello . All AMAZING!

Lucia

Beautiful, delicious menu. Seasonal, so it changes. Staff and food exceeded expectations, though the portions are a little on the small side.

Alyssa

Get the Cacio e Pepe, let's face it, what is better than pasta perfectly coated in cheese ?!?

darnisha bishop

Really cute place. Good food. Decent prices. Can't go wrong.

Julie Soscia

The octopus appetizer is yummy

Michellee C

Doesn't do its namesake justice. Only saving grace of the lackluster flavor of cacio e Pepe is it being cooked in a wheel of cheese . The fettuccine was confused cuz it had too many flavors going on

Janos Braem

Almost everthing is good, but the 'cacio e pepe' dish in the menu is served in a Large cheese bowl.

Winnie

Delicious pasta ! Very cozy and great for dates.

Tara Drake

Ridiculously delicious neighborhood Italian. The restaurant named dish is a must :)

Sys E

They only take Amex! The namesake pasta is delicious, but you better be hungry...

Vic C.

The signature dish is the best version I ever had

Hana Sato

If you are thinking of getting the oxtail meatballs you ought to follow through with it!

Sarah

Great outdoor space and amazing food!

Magnus von Koeller

The Spaghetti Carbonara is to die for. Great pasta in general, but skip the other mains.

Cindy Hwang

The Cacio e Pepe is amaaaaazing. So full of flavor!

Shalea Harris

Most hospitable staff you'll ever meet! And order the pumpkin ravioli ... You won't regret it

L S

Don't miss out in the back garden seating ! We almost missed it.

Rob Atkinson

Don't over think it. Just get the cacio e pepe

Matt G

All of the pasta

Colleen Elizabeth

Fettuccine in veal with coffee grounds

John Wagner

Try the Fettucine Al Funghi Porcini - Yummy mushroomy goodness!

John Wagner

Try the Spaghetti Carbonara - Super-luscious pasta that soaks up sauce like tofu .

Magnus von Koeller

Don't miss the beautiful back garden in summer.

Michael Fischer

Everything...amazing meal

Dave Johnson

Don't screw around and just get the Cacio e Pepe and the Tiramisu

Mindy Yang

Absolutely incredible! Have never had a bad dish there. The namesake dish is a must!

Lee Jennings

Arrive hungry. Share the eggplant timballe to start, get the namesake dish (cacio e pepe) for your meal. YUM.

Ashley Knight

Pecorino & pepper pasta !

Nathan

Damn that's a good cacio e pepe.

Josh Newman

The pasta with romano and black peppercorn is the single greatest pasta dish I have ever had.

Orchid Liu

Try the veal appetizer and a bottle of the Sangiovese. Great value for an amazing wine .
