Great place, do not understand the comments about it being pricey ? Where do these people shop the dollar store only? Prices here are great, fresh mixed salad for 5.25, fresh fruit bowls for 4.25...

Prefer this than the one on upper west side. Downstair's kinda cramped though they have great selection of produce and frozen foods. Really like their sushi as well . 99 cents truu moo choco milk !

For lunch or dinner the fresh salad bar , create your own salad , and sushi are great choices!

Excellent place! Where else in Manhattan you can eat for 20$ for two person. Great selection of food with good quality. Recommend for budget eating!

The service wasn't very good and limited sitting space to eat; however, the salad bar is amazing! There's also huge variety for all types of food, including salads , soups , sandwiches , sushi , etc.

It's in need of renovation, very cramped, and the priciest grocery store in Manhattan (e.g., $3.19 for a 12 oz. Red Bull and $3.59 for a 4.75 oz. French Vanilla Organic Yogurt ). Not much else nearby.

Surprisingly good and moderately priced cappuccino ! I’ve had it 5 times from different people and it’s consistently good. However the service is awful! All employees seem upset.

Great deals on pizza - 2 slices for $3! Also, they have a wide variety of juices and sandwiches .

Great selection with bottled drinks & greek yogurt ! The selection at the self-serve salad bar was ok. Don't get the fried plantains . Didn't taste that great.

The baked food is great and the store is right around the corner from the subway. The store is a little pricey , but it the location is good

I was looking for a supermarket and somebody told me that "The Food Emporium" was a good one. Well , I found every single thing that I needed but I agree with others, so overpriced. Good option anyways

This place is deceiving. The upstairs gives the impression of an upscale food hall and the main lower level is run down and home to a number of questionable odors.

This store is not only over priced it's very poorly managed. They are frequently out of basic things and the service is awful.

Horrible horrible excuse for a grocery store . Always manage to be out of the most basic items and their produce looks miserable. Head to stiles farmers market around the corner instead.

Very expensive . Only reasonable if you have their 'card' to get discounts on items.
