Couldn’t live without this place! Amazing selection, fresh produce and most importantly, their ready to eat section and salad bar is a standout. Sushi bar make the best grocery sushi you can get.
The underground Whole Food’s at Columbus circle is smaller than many outlets , but there’s a decent grocery selection, a big prepared food bar , a sushi counter, a coffee bar , and a juice shop. Read more
"Tons of delicious options for everyone! You can even pick up some groceries and food to snack on later. Located in the same building as the conference , it makes this a very convenient option!"
#Hitachino Nest - Red Rice , White Ale , Japanese Classic Ale , Weizen, Real Ginger Brew, Espresso Stout , XH, Commemorative Ale - in stock here!
Try the Seitan Miso Ginger vegan "meat" on the skewer . It's found at the prepared foods counter. I ate mine cold at it was amazing! no reason to ever eat meat with food this delicious.
Definitely the busiest of the Whole Foods locations in the city , but the selection can't be beat. We love to come to the sushi bar for super fresh fish , but not during peak lunchtime hours.
I had the best brownie of my life at Whole Foods. Pick one from the food court and enjoy the greatest dessert you haven't eaten in a long time.
Fill in the takeaway box with great tasting fresh goods, grab something to drink and go to eat it in the Central Park .
Good choices, my fav place to shop for food! Prices are actually not as ridic as some other supermarkets in the city . Nice bustle of people on the weekends. Sit-down sushi bar is also pretty good.
any Whole Foods market is seriously one of the best bargains in NYC for cheap healthy eats. I consistently grab a great meal from the salad bar for 5 bucks!
A little pricier , but so worth it. Fresh organic produce . Yummy prepared foods, great for grabbing snacks before heading out to nearby Lincoln Center, Terminal 5 or Best Buy Theater for a show!
kind of a hike from our office but it's my favorite WF in the city despite it being a zoo most of the time. there is also a beer 'garden ' in the basement where you can eat and drink.
There's a Hispanic guy here in produce that looks like Al Pacino. Has a mole near his eye. Can't miss him! Great guy! Awesome service!????
Good selection of groceries as well as decent meats, cheeses and baked goods counters. Kind of pricey and very busy but it's possible to find decent quality organic groceries and produce.
Try the local products are the cheapest one. Try the hummus from the salad bar and the the cheese and meat plates are really good an tasty.
So much obscure seasonings as well as other fresh veggies/fruits. Clean . Any whole foods you fo to will be BUSY so don't complain about the wait
The food bar at this Whole Foods is way tastier than any of the other ones in NYC. Love the authentic Dora Wat! They don't have this anywhere else. (An Ethiopian chef at this location perhaps?)
Not a very grocery forward Whole Foods but perfect if you want something to grab and go. Like all Whole Foods it has a great seating area and the Jamba Juice is a plus!
I've ate here 18 times & have tried 16 dishes. LOVED: 1) Prosciutto Caprese Sandwich 2) Wellfleet Oysters . FAILED: 365 Coconut Water . See Top 10 dishes on Foodmento: Read more
Genji by the entrance--perfect way to escape the chaos in whole foods to recharge for some reasonably priced, exquisite sushi .
This supermarket has it all! The concept is fresh, healthy, high-quality foods, home goods, and health/beauty items. Grab one of their delicous prepared foods and head over to Central Park !! Read more
That's where I tried sweet potato for the first time. Salad bar is impressive. Great selection of healthy options .????????
BluePrintJuices are newly single and ready to get picked up at this location! A Green Juice in the morning is a great way to start the day! Pineapple Apple Mint makes a delicious afternoon snack .
Good selection of chocolate bars in a wide range of prices. Something for virtually every palate. Tip: Get outside your comfort zone and try something new.
Terrific selection of organic produce , baked goods and prepared meals. The sushi bar is a must as are the sweets!
Oh wholefoods..the one place where I have have legit ethiopian and indian at the same time! Get the doro wat, tikka masala and the samosas !
Hungry? Needing a beer ? Check out the sit-down bar , "On Tap " downstairs! Order a beer and bowl of chili . They serve grilled cheese sammies, Mac & Cheese ... Etc! ;)
Amazing selection and a great hot bar . Only gripe is the really odd and confusing line system. Long lines remind me of waiting in TSA lines at the airport .
Truly like this place. Always crowded but amazing atmosphere. Excellent food, pastry , and OK coffee .
They have the best hot & cold food buffet . I've been to a few whole foods and this is top notch baby!!! :-p
If you haven't been yet, def stop by On Tap for a local craft beer and bar snack . Reasonably priced and there are TVs to watch the game!
Huge huge place. They're not cheap but big selection and also salad bar and ready food to take

There is a pub straight off the elevator w great beer , totally child friendly and you can eat any food from the whole place!
One of, if not the busiest Whole Foods in NYC. Avoid typical rush hours, and check out the On Tap room.
The lines can be crazy and some people don't understand the system for calling people up to the register!!! Pay attention to people in front of you to prevent waiting for them to figure it out!
The selection is a bit limited here and the layout is weird, but that means there is large selection of hot foods and food to go.
Visiting NYC. Didn't expect an underground Whole Foods would have such a good beer selection in the back corner.
My experience with the seafood dept is they don't know, or don't care to, clean your whole fish well . Always come home with scales still left on the fish .
Look. We all love overpaying for the well-being of our organs .
When you're not feeling italian try THE BEST CANNED SAUCE EVER! Cucina antica puttanesca sauce. When you're feeling Italian, the canned tomatoes are the best in the city for your personal marinara .
I often come here for the "2 for 6" deals. Choose 2 different dishes for 6 dollars. Proper portions, healthy options , great price.
You can find EVERYTHING !!! Whatever you desire is there!
The line moves quickly, so don't be daunted. This location carries a disappointingly small selection of both organic & local produce , but it does have a solid Whole Body section.
Overwhelming at first. Prepared/to-go foods are in the middle, groceries to the left, and coffee + body care is to the right. Angell Bars are across from the drink cooler by checkout lines .
The first Whole Foods Market I‘ve ever been to. I like the way this one is set up in the basement , weirdly.
Great selection of organic products and great selection of sugar derivatives for people with diabetes. I did a dinner and made desserts using Stevia. -Ed Cotton, Top Chef
Vegan pizza was simply supperb! A variety of beers ???? All cool ????
Crazy line at lunch ? Get in the lines closest to the drinks that are technically for people with 11 or more items.
Gotta check out the mac and cheese at the hot food bar...hands down the best product in the entire store!
Love the brown rice medley, all natural BBQ sauce, red lentils, friendly staff & layout of store. - Demetria Harvin
