My friend Dan showed me around this spot. This joint is a super underrated spot serving authentic Vietnamese food . It's worth going out of the way for.

Roasted chicken bahn mi is great -- exactly what it sounds like for a good price, fast. The original bahn mi is a little sweet. Won't be going back for that one.

the bánh mi (very spicy ) is a wonderful sandwich . the flavor is intense enough that the face-blasting spice doesn't drown it out. it's also structurally very sound. would recommend

I still say, best banh mi in NYC !!! Get traditional pork , with fried egg , extra spicy for an unforgettable treat.
