Beautiful place to visit and learn about Florida wild life. And during this time of year manatee sitings are highly likely. Just remember no swimming or other water activities nov-mar
Whether you want to watch the manatees frolic and play or you want to float in an inner tube down the spring run, there is something for everyone at Blue Springs State Park.
The manitees are so relaxing to see. They definitely move at a much slower pace. Best time to view them is early morning.
This is a small yet quaint FL State Park not far from my neighborhood . Go alone or with family/friends or a group. For a special treat, visit during the winter months to see the Manatee
Beautiful place!!! A lot fun activities to do! You can enjoy with the whole family!!!
Beautiful springs. Water is very cold so be prepared. Come on weekdays to avoid crowds. If you wait long enough and are lucky you'll see a manatee from the boardwalk.
A great place for diving, snorkeling , and swimming . Bring a mask, snorkel and water shoes (rocks are sharp). In the cooler months, a thermal swim vest will take the edge off. Watch out for manatees !
I love coming here, especially during the winter because you get to see the manatees in their natural habitat thanks to the spring.

If you go here in the winter when the manatees are here go when the park opens at 8 am. If you go later in the day it will be over capacity and you will have to wait a long time to get in.
Beautiful state park . However, it needs accessibility to boaters who would also like to enjoy the springs.
