Been going here since I was a kid and I've always loved this place. The water is the perfect temperature for a hot summer day! So much history and wildlife . And make your own pancakes !
Love this place. Has a great restaurant right on the spring as well . Where you make your own pancakes and eggs . Has great grilling sites. I would go back again and again.
Definitely stop for all-you-can-eat pancakes ! You get to make them at your own table. While you wait, hit up the history museum , nature trails , swimming spring, and did I mention the manatees?

We enjoyed the pancakes but the beauty of the park is the bigger draw.
If you want to eat at the restaurant call ahead & make a reservation because at 1PM there is a 2 1/2 hr wait. on a Wednesday!
For nature-lovers, go to Blue Springs instead. The swimming area here is cemented off. However, the historic Sugar Mill 's make-your-own pancakes are hugely popular with the local university students.
Nice trails for running. If it’s the weekend, get there early!
I went for the first time this weekend, fell in love with it. All you can eat wheat pancakes and a natural spring . WOW.
Brimming with history, this park features swimming , picnic pavilions, grills, river cruise , canoe , kayak and paddleboat rentals, trails , visitor center, historical ruins.
Although i would suggest going really early, like get there at 8am right when they open because it gets packed fast!
It is a very serene place. Love visiting
Arrive early for the pancakes . Waits can be up to 3 hrs.
