Shooting Star Cafe

They have a pretty extensive menu from noodles to rice plates to desserts . Everything is good... but I am hoping to see more varieties in their dessert menu . Love that they are open till late!

Great Cantonese style desert and cafe dishes. honey lemon tea , Taiwanese style ball boa tea , beef (the belly part) wide rice noodle soup are so authentic !

Service was okay. I had a crepe and it looked amazing and tasted amazing! They are open late and would recommend checking them out.

Btw I only bring up nano technology for that ‘cook’ hype due to the basket ball team Oakland Warriors hyping their ‘gold blooded’ yea guys thats nano so grab a tea & get a pokemon. Cas crispR vs Nano

Kinda annoying I asked for small pineapple seafood fried rice and had to pay 20 bucks for it because the menu says differently on here, however, great food and place, their variety speaks for itself

Lunch specials are 11-3pm m-f. They come with soup , salad , milk tea and rice/spaghetti! Pretty decently priced :)

Best bubble tea around, and if you stop by before 6pm it's only $1.65!!! You can't beat that price anywhere in the Oakland area.

The new Sushi place is SO GOOD and really cheap . The old Shooting Star moved next door .

Not sure if this is replacing SSC, but the decor makes it feel like a small trendy restaurant rather than a cafe . Same menu but slightly longer wait times as they iron out the process.

Get the lychee ice-cream! Best decision ever!

Terrible Service, we ate here yesterday, June 20th, we got served after 1 hour, they served the people who came in after us. Good food but terrible service.

Get the Leo!

$20 card minimum, and they don't split the check.

Slow service, but an alright place to get a bite to eat late.

Came for breakfast and got completely ignored. Not even drink orders were taken.
