Beautiful old, gothic convent on the banks of the Yarra turned into a community farm and centre. Great little food places too. One of my favourite spots in Melbourne. Best visited on a weekend.

Gorgeous little precinct with lush gardens , a few restaurants , an open air cinema in the summertime, and a plethora of markets and events throughout the year.

I could spend the whole day here, eating at Lentil as Anything , buying fresh good veggies at the organic market and walking along the Yarra.

Beautiful place. Walk around the gardens , go to the markets , have a long lunch at Lentils (with a chai !), enjoy the tranquility

This place is beautiful. Spend some time sitting on the grass and enjoying the sights and sounds

c3 gallery has openings every so often, on a Wednesday. It's the one on the garden side that looks a bit like a cellar!

Great bakery plus art studio is and market on the weekend

Make sure to bring two $2 coins. One for parking and the other for the farmers' market , if that's what you're there for.

Has a few interesting cafés inside, and hosts events occasionally

Great farmers market on the third saturday of every month. Get some real food from real people!

Go for a walk in the gardens , bring a picnic rug and enjoy some time in the lovely grounds of the convent

Donate to keep this place as is. Don't let development spoil this cultural institution.
