Great location. Love the preserved historic elements from its time as a social club . Old portraits of members hang on the wall. The rooms have high ceilings and look like a throwback in time.
At first this hotel was creepy with all the portraits in the lobby, and more so in the room. But that changes quickly with the accommodation and staff ! Tasha is the best! Ask for the warm cookies !
Walruses wait for you in bed and French presses are readily available in your dresser . What more could one want? Also, Rocket the concierge is superb.
Funky and beautiful hotel with lots of eccentric charm. Have to love history, but it’s tops, all the way down to the stuffed walrus in your room. And a great location.
Open the top drawer of the dresser and you'll find ground Starbucks coffee , a French Press , water kettle, and instructions how to use the French Press in case you don't know how!
This was established in 1917 as a gentlemen's club. There's a display of men's hats from different periods in history. Find I by the reception desk, it is fascinating
I love everything about this place. A very thoughtful renovation with impeccable attention to detail. Everything about my stay was perfect. Be sure to check out the 3rd floor dome room .
This is by far the most elegant old fashion bar I have been too on the west coast. Viktor's drinks are delicious and well served. If you like Absynthe, Viktor will put on a show!
Drinks at the Polar Bar felt like being transported back to the times of the club, complete with an abundance of bourbon cocktails and a bar seemingly inset with blocks of ice. Read more
The Honorable Marion Anthony Zioncheck, a staunch liberal who championed the New Deal, died after jumping from his office in this building. He landed in front of the car that held his wife.
Great looking lobby and bar (but extremely slow service in the bar ). Quirky and fun decor in the public spaces and great rooms. Downside is super noisy air con.
APFM: Sean K says, "It’s a little stuffy, but has cool walruses . It’s been rumored that Tom W and Charlie S can be found there in some afternoons!"
Just a block uphill from the hotel is Columbia Tower, where the 76th floor observation deck offers the best views in town (and for a nicer price than the Space Needle).
Go see the ball room. Lobby bar is great and half price items at happy hour . Fries are great and staff is very friendly .
Great historic location, comfortable rooms and a great bar ... Slightly creepy vibe.
The Northern Lights dome room is great for large group get-togethers
Nice views and classic to the times of the city restored and luxurious .
Our room was warm, cozy and had probably the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. Read more
Madman style foyer bar . Get the sliders during happy hour !
10th floor has outdoor balconies
Great lobby bar , and a masculine decor.
Nice rooms. If you are a diamond member they bring you a nice treat to your room.
I feel like I stepped back in time at this amazing hotel .
Get an old-fashion at the lounge and pretend you're Don Draper.
10th floor rooms all have patios , and great views
Overall underwhelmed by the staff at the event . Mostly rude or did not care. The food was good and the room was gorgeous but the revive was really lacking.
Complimentary warm cookie at check-in hit the spot!
Check out the dome room on the second floor... Just to say you did!
Nice Hotel , friendly staff . Ask them who are the people in the old pictures in the lobby ;-)
Walk down Cherry St. to get to the Transit Station to avoid interesting homeless people
In-room free generous starbucks coffee supply inside the top dresser compartment
Love the bar and manhattans
To park , you've got to go to Cherry Street and valet
Absolutely beautiful hotel !! The staff are very friendly
Their beds are quite comfy . Great staff too!
Get a corner room . Amazing views of Seattle
Check out the foyer bar . It has a very 50s look and feel. Happy hour 5-6 and 9-close
Clam Chowder , wow

Great historic hotel in the heart of downtown. Beautiful spacious rooms but best of all is the impeccable service. Don't miss Belle Epicurean for Seattle's top coffee, croissants and desserts. ;) - Kristine Gelsano

Really cool that the city has still kept this mostly small local vendors. Definitely worth a visit, I still visit as a local! - Greg Wilcox
