Come early enough to sit at the top of the theater for the best view . If you get motion sick prepare to medicate or skip the experience.
You can combo your IMAX movie ticket with a museum ticket to get a better deal! Museum members save on movie ticket prices and at the concession stand.
Do NOT see Star Wars: The Force Awakens here. Almost all scenes are warped and virtually unwatchable. The only watchable films are those made specifically for the curved screen.
IMAX Dome is a dizzying / awkward way to see feature films that weren't formatted for it. Plus there was hair on the lens for half the film . And the legroom is less than a coach seat on a flight.
This is the IMAX inside the Tech Museum . It doesn't JUST have sciency movies , and the screen/sound system is amazing. Worth checking out!
Best places are on the top rows. Limited number of movies .
Select movies free on Mondays for members!
First time seeing an IMAX movie here. It was pretty cool.
Though I admitted the people looked quite smart, someone had stolen our popcorn .
Great movie on the humpback whales.
sit in the back. If you sit in the middle or front, get ready to feel completely nauseous throughout the film . Unless it's one of those cool documentaries made entirely from IMAX cameras .

My favorite theatre. Comfortable seating, nice atmosphere and it doesn't hurt that Santana Row is right out the door. - Crystal Kinney
Awesome place for kids and people of all ages to learn about technology! Though of you're a seasoned geek you may find it a bit dull, but still worth the visit if you haven't been! - Kevin To
