The breakfast is SO good. Get the chilaquiles . To drink get cafe de olla. Not for people who ❤️ strong coffee but the cinnamon flavor gives it a smooth flavor. For a treat, tres leches is worth the $7
Three different kinds of homemade mole ! Ask for samples if you're unsure which to order. You can even ask for half and half on your dish if you can't pick just one!
A relatively undiscovered gem. Tex-Mex it ain't! The food is mostly authentic interior Mexican and regional (Yucatecan, for one). Margaritas (and Mexican martinis ) are clean , real, reasonably priced.
Mole is amazing. Also gish tacos were great. Ask for grilled veggies instead of rice . :)
Get the Flautas . Chicken and cheese goodness. Or shrimp and fish ceviche with a side of guac . Always greeted with a warm welcome by the owners. They genuinely care about their guests.
Local, family owned, delicious mix of interior and border. And a great selection of tequila . Full of neighbours, too.
We enjoyed all we had. Only negative was that our server did not point out happy hour specials .
