Ferry boats go to three different Islands : Centre, Hanlan 's and Ward 's Island . The islands are all connected, so you can walk from one to another.

If you just want to get over to the islands (to walk or cycle around), any line will do since the islands are all connected. Avoid Centre Island lineups on busy days.

The ferry and terminal is in the same condition as Jack is these days, only difference is this is still in service. Toronto the great? Pffft

You know you have to pay, have your form of payment ready. It's so frustrating when people look for their money when there's a long line . You had a long time to get it ready.

Departure times are clearly guidelines, so don't bother rushing to catch one at a posted time. Just go when ready to leave, and something should show up sometime... 3:22, 3:50, you know, whenevs.

Buy 10 tickets instead of one. You'll be set for the summer and never wait in line again.

Don't just stand in the first line you see. Most people don't realize that there are 3 or 4 other much shorter lines .

It's faster to buy one or two tickets by machine than to stand in line for a ticket agent. Take note, though: the ticket machines are very confusing.
