it's the ideal lunch spot on a sunny day, grab some food on Whitecross street (great food market ) and sit by the Barbican lake
Barbican is a special place, if you want to see brutalism in its best and enjoy the eccentric mix of 70 style concrete towers and old England architecture
Excellent coffee to be had downstairs. And did you know all the cement pillars have been HAND-CHIPPED by Italian stone-workers?! True story.
A great place to hang around when the weather isn't so bad!
When brutalist can be also pretty
In a sunny day, brutalism cannot be more beautiful
Sit by the water when the weather is nice... summer in the city :)
This place is London hidde gem.
