If you go here during the day during the week, you can easily have the theater to yourself! Always very clean as well .

You can put the chair's arm up to be closer to your date! Also one of the cheapest theaters I've seen in the metro area. But I'm not from here so I'm still learning.

It's a great movie theather. I think the temperature it's a little hot... but besides that, great place, not too crowded . Love the waffle fries and chicken tenders .

One of my favourite theatres in Houston . They remodeled recently, adding in a bar and a food court .

There are no clean seats. This is about the best you're going to get here at "gunvale "

Recently refurbished in 2013 - feels/looks a little better - but sometimes the 'loud , vulgar, type' of crowd that comes here makes it unfavorable . Hoping that there will be some resolve to that.

People talk/text/stand up and walk around during movies here a lot. Just be aware before you come. If you want a normal movie experience go to studio 24.

The people at the counters are very friendly and eager to helpful, theater is clean tickets before noon are $6.50

Their selection of food is good. Also their little bar is improving.

It may be a little old and run down, and people might say it's not very well kept. Even so you have the opportunity to watch more than one movie without having to buy the tickets.

I would take issue with the negative reviews. The projection and sound systems are high-quality and reliable, and there aren't as many noxious distractions as there have been in years past.

Every movie theater has teenagers hanging out and crying babies and what not. It's a public facility, if you want complete silence during a movie , watch it at home!

I get the impression the people saying this theater is ghetto haven't even been within spitting distance of an actual ghetto .

Ok, but overall kinda crappy.The food court is pretty cool, and arcade games in the hall....but seats were uncomfortable and stained,food in the aisle, and the speakers in my theatre were out at first

Convenient place to watch a movie for those that don't like "running in' to people you really don't want to see. LOL

This place was okay compared to my usual AMC theaters I go to in CA. This place seemed dark and deserted and dry area. IMAX was nothing special compared with the regular Digital sounds or visual.

Redid everything! The food and concessions are awesome!!!

But tickets ahead of time to avoid long line during peak times. Also take advantage of parking on the side of the buildings.

Loud noisy environment (people talking inside the room, phones, etc). Additionally, the theater seats, while stadium-style, are ramrod straight and don't recline at all -- I was getting a backache.

The bar is a bit under whelming other than that it's a nice looking place

This theater has improved since their remodel. More clean now than years ago.

Two for One. Watch Killer Elite @ 7:45 finishes at 10:00 then turn right watch Drive. Finishes at 11:45. Go home

Pretty dirty & filthy bathrooms , but it's Gunvale , so what can u expect?! I do like free parking & the new food court & customized drink station.

Big theater. Lots of space.

Crew didnt even clean up from previous show before letting us into the theatre! Empty candy boxes, Coke bottles and popcorn left in some of the rows...eww

When IM in Houston & hanging out with friends, I come here to catch a good movie .!!

Their is a bar in the lobby. Sam Adams seasonal on tap .

They have lotta movies there, Theater has cleaned up quite well .

Best deal at AMC is any show which starts before noon!

You'd think the staff would be more attentive with the new food facility in place. They're not.
