Great pizza , big beer garden and a selection of good ales . Not to mention there is great live music on a Sunday.
Great pub in quiet residential streets. Friendly service and great real ale .
Walthamsow's finest, especially it's quirks. Very friendly - just talk to people and find out about the local cultural happenings.
Pizza is tasty, but the waiters are not so nice and friendly . Also you are not allowed to bring a dog inside which makes it the only place in the village that is dog-unfriendly
Great community pub . Decent range of beers on tap .
Have always found bar people perfectly friendly , there is a good beer selection , and a garden .
Always something odd going on here... cat weddings, jumble sales, beer festivals . Has good selection of novelty bottled beers .
Lovely quiet local spot . Good food, music and vibes, but lazy and unfriendly service
Good selection of ales and great music . Plus cats! 😺
Watch out for cats. And cat ladies. Beer is good. Sunday jazz is great.
Staff generally a pain in the rear, but always great beer to choose from. A Wallystow staple.
Great jazz band on Sunday afternoons and a nice pizza deal on weekday lunchtimes.
I just want to thank all of the people at the Nag's Head for making John and I feel welcome. We are so glad we moved to Walthamstow and love it!
My favourite local. Friendly , cosy and a decent selection of ales .
The pub street is quite charming and quiet .
Best pizza's going. The cut off is 10pm at the bar !
Avoid the dessert . Ours had mould on it!

All the cat pictures are awesome!
Favourite pub in Walthamstow. 👌
I've never thought I was out of place here! Brilliant pub .
Doesn't take Amex but pretty awesome pub garden
Remember, your not better than everyone else in here..... If you don't live in the area, you have no rights!!
Not bad, but not as welcoming as the Queens Arms around the corner.
Wine tastings every Thu from 7pm
RIP Tetley! You were a lovely cat!
Talk about miserable...
Apparently they don't do "meat crisps"
Very RUDE landlady. Do not enter!
It is a lovely, quirky pub but the staff really leave a lot to be desired. Rolling eyes behind customer's back, arms crossed whilst taking orders and sullenness does not make good customer service.
Shoud be a great pub but the officous notices with rules and regulations have really spoiled the atmosphere (even though lots of them have gone)
Children can't eat inside, even when the place is empty... This place needs a rethink.
Nice enough pub but with delusions of grandeur. Think it wishes it was on Islington Upper St, and has the sort of staff who make you feel bad about wanting to be served.
Refurbished under new owners. This once violent pub is now amazing. Great burgers and a family atmosphere. - Christopher Finch
My go to pub in Walthamstow. A tad on the expensive side but great atmosphere and tasty food. I've had good service here too. - James
Fantastic pub with guest ales. Have a theatre upstairs. - Sonia Fletcher
Great beer and much more reasonable prices than similar places (looking at you London Fields brewery!) - Vicky Holland
Highly recommended: Excellent food and service. Try to duck confit! - James Salt
