I absolutely love going to this place with Sarah Farrar! Other than the amazing food & martini mouthgasms.. The staff can always handle anything that happens. Unexpected change in people or Sarah & I.

Crispy shrimp and habañero bacon shrimp (appetizers ) were both so good! Habañero sauce is perfect blend of spicy and sweet, and not burn your taste buds hot.

So sad!! My favorite beer marinated carnitas are off the menu and the usual off menu carrot cake is also no longer offered. Boohooo! They do have sopapillas now though, if that's your thing.

I enjoyed the caso, guacamole , and salsa with chips . I also had the steak taco salad . I washed it all down with a top shelf Margarita and a Mexican Martini . Everything was delicious

Everything is good. I've never had a bad meal at any of the Trudy's locations. You must try the Stuffed Avocado .

I love Trudys. One of my favorite spots to go to, Especially on my bday. But the menu has changed, It has become scratch kitchen style. This isn't Michelin star restaurant fyi. #KeepAustinWeird pls!

I got a mushroom quesadilla and because I'm a vegan the waitress replaced the cheese with refried beans . Very good service here. Also love the mexican martini .

You have to start off the queso ! I usually get the fish tacos on corn tortilla -delish. If you're feeling adventurous, get a Mexican Martini or two.

Can't miss with the chicken fajita green chile enchiladas . Hot hot hot and so good good good! Sitting outside on the huge patio is a must at this location.

Good amount of parking and our server was absolutely wonderful in accommodating my vegan requests with my portobello fajitas

Only used to come here for the Mexican Martinis . Their "new recipe" includes "fresh squeezed juices " and no olive juice . What makes this a martini ? The glass? I'm officially joining the TURDy's team.

On Friday we had the blackened tilapia for $10. It was very good tho farm raised. The Sangritas were not too sweet or too tart and $5.

Stuffed avocados . Fried and stuffed with chicken ! Appetizer portion is a tiny bit cheaper than the entree. Opt for the entree instead.

Menu revamp takes chipotle crema , rellenos , and most of what was worth eating out of the mix. Where's the selection?

Fajitas are good. Anything else is really sucks. Margaritas are gross and super sweet. Great selection of beer on tap .

Mexican martini , and always anything with their Tinga , the flavors are amazing

You can always do the usual, stuffed avocado or flaquities, but the pollo ala plancha is the best hidden item on the menu. Mexican martini - NO GLASS

Stuffed avocado & sangria margarita are to for for. You can't go wrong w/ either!

Sunday, 3Dec.'17. Got here at 1:10pm. Ordered Coffee and finally got it at 1:36pm. Grrr... Beware of Robert the waiter , he doesn't time manage well with multiple tables.

The Queso especial is SOOO good!! Tacos , enchiladas , anything you want!

Try the migas enchiladas with spiced beef added and queso for a sauce. Delicious!!! Sit at the bar for 10% discount on food and Sundays u can get a free draft pint also.

Ruby Red margaritas are awesome. Loaded jalapeños are to die for.

Great drinks and specials. Friendly staff . Ask for Faiza's section. She's the best.

Expectations were not high so when we started looking at each other going wow this food is good. Topper was their flan . Maybe the best in town .

Try the Ciro's Special with chipoltle crema instead of queso , it's fantastic.

Chuy's has better Mexican Martinis . Try the South Congress Cafe salsa sampler. Really good and free refills.

Anything with chipolte cream sauce is delicious.

Shrimp Taco 's UH-mazing!!! Most incredible sauce on these things. And of course the Mex Martini's any day of the week!

Fried avacado with queso as the sauce. Isn't listed as an option but they'll do it and it's amazing.

not really as great as people make it out to be. definitely a place where you meet for drinks.
