The portions here are unbelievable! The corn beef hash was delicious. By the time I was full, I felt like I failed at my mission of eating all this food. Worth the money. Two meals in one :)
Sausage gravy pot pie . It is a very rare occasion when I cannot clean my plate, but you're looking at one of those rare occasions. Absolutely delicious and I leave satisfied every time I go here.
Holy crap, huge portions . Try the chicken Benedict with chipotle. It was heavenly and I could only eat 1/3 in a sitting. Bacon Bloody Mary ... Went for dinner , and there was no line .
Generous portions for good prices. The sage chicken & waffle tower (bacon in waffle ) is insane! loved the chilaquiles and What’s up morning glory ? (Cold brew , vanilla cream , lemon peel, bacon garnish )
Guava Margarita and specialty Benedict was very good! Big portions that actually had a ton of sophisticated flavors. Very nice server too. Would highly recommend!
Chicken and waffles are huge and amazing. Couldn't finish it all! Get here early as the line gets very long. PRO TIP: call the day before to make a reservation .
OMG, our eyes popped, $17 for breakfast . But these servings are HUGE! We split the chicken hash . It was excellent, and honestly, enough for 3 people. Will definitely go back next time we are in SD
The food here is HUGE. I tried the chicken sage eggs Benedict ... About 3000 calories I bet, but it was amazing! Definitely stopping in on future trips to San Diego.
Great place to eat. Huge portions . My favorites are the double patty bacon burger and the fried chicken and waffles .
Staff was very friendly . The place was packed and still we got great service. Food came fast. I should've listened to our server, you can't full on attack the meal, you have to strategize! Big plates !
Cafe Moto's Pennican blend served here has bright earthy flavors. Complex mid body of walnut and earth tones. Pairs well with dishes with bell peppers .
Big portion Big size. Got the chicken and waffles . Couldn't finish it. Tons of rosemary .🤔 Good presentation but won't be back for awhile. 🤷🏾♀️ bec. of the long line too.
World Famous breakfast spot . Yes, the wait is ridiculous at times, but definitely worth the wait. Portions are gigantic. Try the World Famous Chicken & Waffles or I recommend the HH Famous Meatloaf .
Oh. My. God. Portions! Hash House makes some mean "morning drinks" and they're a hearty-pair with- anything! Try the meatloaf if it's there!
You have got to try one of their famous pancakes ! Enough to suitably feed two, but that doesnt stop locals who try to tackle the whole thing: bacon , potatoes , eggs , and all! Get in line early! Delish!
I had no idea that the portions were so huge but other than that, the food was delicious. Definitely try the fried chicken !
The mashed potato hamburger is to DIE for! where else in California can you find a hamburger with two massive patties, with mashed potatoes in between, topped with bacon and cheddar . I mean, really?!
Chicken hash featured tender roast chicken freshly pulled, lots of good green onion and onion . The potatoes were wedged, roasted, pan fried then cut into thirds, extra crunchy but soft on the inside!
Portions are HUGE! Please order accordingly. Honestly, one plate can be shared by two and there will still be leftovers. Very yummy!!! Pancakes are the biggest plates.
Always delicious. Great service. Huge portions . Expect a long wait (1+ hr) on wkend during peak hrs. Lots to explore in nearby neighborhoods while you wait & they take reservations .
Try the House Fresh Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict - Fresh asparagus , spinach , sundried tomatoes , chili cream, & basted eggs . Served with split biscuit and mashed potato .
Big huge portions you could easily share for brunch . Such a long wait though and not sure how to avoid that. #firstworldproblems #pancakesarebomb
Everything is good and glasses of champagne are balanced out to the cost of the whole bottle... fair prices .
Humongous portions that require sharing. They make a nice Bloody Mary and the hashes are delicious.
You can't go hungry here. One of their farm-fresh, locally-sourced entrees is more than enough to feed two people. Be prepared to take leftovers and if you're planning for brunch get in line early).
The food is excellent & the portions are HUGE!! You will leave with a doggie bag, unless you split a portion. Great spot!
Huge portions that is ample for brunch and another meal. Fried chicken was a little soggy than I imagined but I guess that's what happens when it sits in the gravy for a while.
Love the meatloaf hash = Breakfast served in a full-size cast iron skillet - hard to beat that! Great coffee and efficient & friendly service . Make reservations ahead or prepare to wait a bit.
Simply it's what in picture, if you like twisted nothing better than Hash House a Go Go
Their plates are gigantic! Definitely enough for two people :) parking and long lines are always trouble over the weekend!
Easily the biggest portions I've ever encountered. One plate per two people. Possibly 3 or 4. This place is amazing.
Loaded bloody mary is the way to go! If you have leftovers at other places consider splitting a plate. The portions are HUGE!!
Delicious meatloaf hash stuff but um make sure you dont get a parking ticket. Eff officer raspberry ! Stupid jerk!
Fried chicken Benedict , big portion , plan to have more than half to go or eat with someone else. Great taste.

Solid cocktails , great pancakes , lots of panache . Worth the long waits that are common.
Try the Andy's Sage Fried Chicken - Wow. Look at this monstrosity. Another Man vs. Food tour stop in San Diego. Portions huge enough for three. Yet, I am a line girl.
The food was amazing a bit of a wait but totally worth it!!!

The portions are huge, it's almost like good for four people!! Sit down, relax and forget the long wait , it's worth it.
I had the meatloaf hash and felt unwell a few hours later. Maybe it was just me or from some other source, but I usually have a cast-iron stomach.
Worth the wait which averages an hour.
Amazing!!!! The coconut mango pancake is simply irresistible!
22oz Bud with a side of bacon . Legit. You can't possibly finish any other menu item by yourself.
Eggs , bacon , hash browns , etc. I live everything I've tried here so far. 😊
The french toast and the sage fried chicken Benedict Are the way to go!! Portions are gigantic! Really I think they use serving platters for plates...
Get there before 8am on a Saturday! When we left at 9am after eating a fantastic breakfast , the wait stretched down the sidewalk.
Lines are long to wait for a table, but try asking for seating at the counter for availability. If not, ask for outdoor seating as a second choice. Order the big o' sage fried chicken & waffle .
Try the Sage Fried Chicken And Waffles Tower - The waffles are stuffed with bacon . Amazing.
