Cute little place to get some work done (WiFi !) with great coffee and Dough doughnuts . Only downfall is no plugs.
Always a great place to sit down and rest. Their chocolate croissant is great. I love how the people who work there will guide you towards a ginger tea instead of coffee when they see that you're sick
Come for the coffee , stay for the baked goods . They've got the basics covered but also bring a solid arsenal of unique muffins and scones . The oatmeal raisin scone is a personal favorite of mine.
I know it costs more than a beer , but sometimes you just really need some nitro cold brew on a hot day. Get two, either to share or just to keep yourself happy. Get three or four. I AM NOT AN ADDICT.
Service was spectacular and very knowledgeable . The Stumptown cold brew served on Nitro was a nice change of pace. It was smoother and creamier. They equate it to having a beer vs. a Guinness . So true
This coffee shop has staff that is as delightful as their coffee ! Friendly and knowledgable baristas serve you a fresh Stumptown coffee with a smile.
Although laptop seating is limited, this is a good spot in the area to work later in the evening since they're open until 9pm. Pretty good Stumptown , free wifi , plugs along the wall, and food.
Everyone thinks their cafe is the best but mine really is. Come for the Stumptown , stay for the Bagel Hole bagels . Bonus: warm and freshly baked choc-banana, ginger-raspberry, and blueberry muffins .
The Prospect Heights/Park Slope border has this new coffee spot . This is where people can meet up for coffee and food with friends or simply grab something quickly on their way to the subway. Read more
Great relaxed stylish cafe with delicious pastries and sandwiches and excellent cappuccinos and espressos . And not so crazy overpriced as Brooklyn Larder across the street
A central location, fresh baked gourmet sweets, and convivial atmosphere are just a few of the reasons that laptoppers and latte aficionados will feel at home.
Staff is friendly and laid back ..home made cookies and cakes are to die for..try their chocolate mint cookie it's #heavenly!!
They sell doughnuts from Dough ! Save the trip to Bed-Stuy and wash down your coffee with a bright pink hibiscus treat.
House made Chai tea & relaxing atmosphere . Separate areas for those with & without laptops .
This is the most beautiful coffee shop I have been too. Get the Cold Brew , it's on tap!
First time here, and they messed up our order, but then went above and beyond to make it up. Awesome staff , tasty sandwiches and kombucha on tap.
They have almond and/or soy milk . Free wifi : FRIDAY13 . Perfect place to sit after lunch at the farm :-)
The daily frittata is a tasty, healthy option , served warm with a side salad . On the less healthy side of things, the peach cardamom muffin is amazing.
The cookies are amazing. Go out on a limb and try the ginger molasses. You won't be disappointed.
Really cute coffee shop . They use Stumptown Coffee and the staff is super friendly . Their iced latte hits the spot on a hot summer day.
Great coffee and good service too. Giant donuts and cookies are good too.
Bigger than its Fulton St counterpart and more accommodating for the assholes that sit on one coffee for two hours while they take up a table with their laptops .
They have Dough donuts and awesome soft muffins . Cozy . Wifi . Often packed.
Best cappuccinos and iced lattes in the neighborhood and good food too. I recommend the bagel or turkey club .
More craft coffee but pastries were solid. Staff is ultra hipster - but no complaints! Music was big band covers of Wu bangers -- amazing.
Dough doughnuts are now weekends only, which unfortunately takes away my main reason for coming. Terrific coffee etc. though.
Usual non Starbucks-type of place your starting to see. However the condiments bar has real metal spoons vs. Wood sticks. And yes there's a clean spoon bin and a used spoon bin.
you can't go wrong with a mug of stumptown coffee and a classic grilled cheese panini (muenster and cheddar !)
Watch out Gorilla, serious competition, and they are friendly and uber competent. Must try. Perfect espresso . Perfect latte . Fantastic atmo
Cute coffee spot with window seating and small bakery selection.
What to know the best morning snack , ask the person who knows, the staff knows their stuff and are exceptionally friendly .
Their food is really tasty. The berry muffins especially!
#Stumptown cold brew , #kombucha on tap, classic rock playlist and friendly staff . Home run for the slope .
made up w the owner after my last "dickish" tip. neighborhood love! (oh cause I was miffed at his hardcore refusal to hold some apt keys for friends while we were out of town - understandably)
Great coffee . Good place to work , no outlets though. Only a few tables allow laptops
The vegan apple oatmeal muffin is delicious. The staff is always pleasant, which is refreshing for a coffee bar .
Not on the menu : when you want to take the edge off and settle in for a little warm, relaxing me time ask for a Vanilla Soy Roobois Latte . Mmmmmmmm.
Great donuts ! Can be cold - so bring a jacket . Not a lot of seating where you can use your laptop though.
They have nitrogen pumped cold brewed coffee . It's awesome (and looks like you're drinking a Guinness ).
better than the awesome David Weeks floor lamp? this place discourages laptop loitering. can I get an Amen?
If you go savory, don't miss the cheddar black pepper biscuit . Stands up to even the darkest roast
They serve Stumptown here and make it well . Cool space and they allow laptops in certain areas - free WiFi though. But $14 for a 12oz bag of Stumptown is a little steep when other places charge $12.
I've found Ghost to be expensive , precious, loud (musically speaking), and drafty (an issue in the winter when sitting at a table near the door). Very nice space, though, and the quality is passable.
Warm, tasty baked goods and stumptown coffee to fuel your morning commute!
Doubtful that the Hungry Ghost & I would be friends based on its vibe, but the coffee is on point ????
Fast paced coffee and pastry spot with a menu that's on trend, but not chasing anything
Chill atmosphere, not too pretentious . My dirty chai latte was above average- tasted like they make their own chai tea ? Only complaint is that there are no power outlets .
the morning glory bars are crazy good: carrots , raisins , zucchini , dates, and pure magic.
Great coffee and food. If you're looking to work though try somewhere else. Was not able to get a seat even after waiting for 10-15 min.
Delicious coffee , nice atmosphere, and the maple walnut cranberry cookie was AWESOME.
Rotisserie chicken dinner - enough food for three people and the fried broccoli it comes with is amazing! - Georgia Luddecke
Beautiful coffee shop, great place to work (good wifi, some power outlets). Decent selection of coffee and matcha drinks. - Globetrottergirls Dani
excellent euro-style coffee stationin addition to the great coffee, try the pain au chocolat, hard boiled eggs & the fresh squeezed juice - Marc Lucas
Thoughtful & surprisingly diverse selection of very high quality food items. Check out the beer, cider, hot food, & incredible ice cream! - Foxxy B
Beautiful, interesting, and expansive. So many things to do and see. A million unique areas. - Kitty Mullee
