The self proclaimed 'grandaddy of all music venues '. Not unlikely to see Gary Clark Junior amongst the crowd. Very local with the best blues & jazz shows in town .

This place was well worth visit. Great music , and atmosphere. I'd highly encourage anyone to stop in and have drink or two while listening to some great live music . Staff quite friendly , too.

This is a great place to watch live music , but even better in the front room. This club also gets non-mainstream artists . Recently it hosted the composer of the School House Rock music .

Walked down SoCo on a Sunday afternoon. Heard the sweetest twang from The Continental Club. Popped in to find Redd Volkaert playing free happy hour shows. Only in Austin. Wow.

I was surprised how small this club was. The sound was loud but didn't drive me away. There is a variety of bands and some have a cover charge and some sdo not. They have early music for happy hour .

This place used to be a toxic smoke-filled ashtray with great music . Now it still has legendary Austin music -minus the secondhand smoke.
