Pensacola Lighthouse-NAS

Pensacola Lighthouse & Museum offers climbing tours of the landmark 1859 lighthouse . Right across the the Naval Aviation Museum , offers history exhibits , ghost hunts , weddings and special events .

A lot of stairs to get the top, but the view is worth it and there is a volunteer at the top who will give you a history of the lighthouse along with some fun facts

Traffic coming down has the right of way! Narrow stairwell, but fun climb. Awesome view of the air field and the bay from the top. If you're scared of heights, just cling to the rail and the steps .

Beautiful view from the top and a great workout. Do not wear flip flops or you'll have to leave your shoes and climb to the top barefoot- not fun.

The walk up is worth every step ! The History of the place is pretty cool.

Definitely believe something freaky is going on here. All of my family experienced strange feelings we have never felt before on any visit like this.

$3 for active duty members to climb to the top. They also do ghost tours every now and then. On the second story there was a MURDER, you can still see the bloodstains! oOOoooOOo

Kids must be 7 yrs old or 44 inches tall and cannot be carried up per coast guard rules .

I made it up the 177 steps to the top! My knee will be making me pay for that later!!

Don't wear flip flops ... as an active lighthouse , Coast Guard rules state "no flip flops "
