I can see why it's in the top 25 museums in the US. Free entry, free parking . Tons of aircraft and a great little restaurant inside. There are places where it's quite chilly, but it is grand.
Pretty cool place. Changed a lot since I was kid! You can easily spend a couple of hours going through here. Also the grill is a pretty good lunch . About 18 bucks for 2 people.
Opened in 1983, this is the world's largest naval aviation museum and features more than 150 restored aircraft from the Navy, Marines and Coast Guard .
Awesome way to spend a few hours. Although family friendly , we found our selves child-free for the day, we enjoyed the museum more by being able to take our time. Allow at least 3-4 hours.
It's free with free parking , has short videos and movies all over, several flight simulators you can "ride" and planes and helicopters you can climb into for photo ops
Family member station at NATTC-Took the opportunity to see the Naval Aviation Museum-Had a blast-The best part it's FREE-If you're visiting Pensacola and looking for something to do I would suggest it
This is one of my favorite museums . They have so many types and kinds of aircraft it is just unbelievable. Allot of hours go into restoring them. The museum itself is free.
Revisit landmarks in the history of naval aviation with this impressive collection of U.S. Navy planes . This site is on an active Navy base, so please be sure to bring a valid photo ID. Read more
For military history buffs, plan on spending an entire day. The trolley tour of the flight line comes highly recommended as well as the IMAX films . Be sure to save time in the gift store .
Great Museum with Imax. Free admission except for Imax and flight simulators . Go during the weekdays in the am if you can. Seemed to be less crowded then.
❤️this place! Come every year. Great atmosphere. Great and friendly staff and great drinks. Always. U won't be disappointed. Frozen drinks and beer and jäger bombs . Enjoy. Thnks guys
The POW/MIA section is interesting and still moving - I still remember wearing theses bracelets to shed light on the situation so the prisoners would be sent home
Very nice place for kids to. Learned a lot today. Biggest thing admission is free. Place is clean and well kept. Lots of planes etc. even have a cafe inside to eat at.

Amazing! My boys loved it. Look at the Blue Angles website and see if they are practicing. We were lucky enough to catch an "unscheduled" practice.
Take the tour ! It was awesome. So much information and so much fun. Just beware, it gets a little long. 2 1/2 or so hours.
The Angels fly most Wednesdays and you can get a fantastic view from the museum parking lot . Check ahead for when they are home.
Excellent family trip & it's free! How amazing. You can see, touch and jump in various cockpits.
Plan your visit around one of the tours at 9:30, 11:00, 1:00, or 2:30. The guides are very passionate and incredibly knowledgeable .
Located on board Pensacola Naval Air Station, more than 4,000 artifacts and over 150 beautifully restored aircraft representing Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard aviation. Great IMAX Theatre
Why a great institution dedicated to Naval Aviation. It was a bigger honor as I was a part of it.
We spent hours here watching the Blue Angels and looking at all the planes . Got to see the planes my dad worked on in Vietnam. Definitely worth visiting.
Free parking , free admission , and lots of displays. It might take two trips to really take it all in.
While viewing the more than 150 restored aircraft , be sure to find the CH-53D Sea Stallion, used during the Vietnam War to resupply Marine base camps and other transport missions.
GREAT museum for kids and adults of all ages. Best part is, it's free!! The cafe has great food for fairly cheap as well .
Awesome museum ! We didn't get through it all in one day. So going back in the morning, watch the Blue Angels practice and going through the FREE museum again!

The 6oz burger was amazing. It was one of the biggest, and best, that I've ever had anywhere. The prices were great too, really not at all what I expected. 10/10 - Bradley Cook
Tons of awesome trivia, stories, and displays. All the planes there are 110% original, or so I was told. If you enjoy the Navy and its history, check out Hanger Bay One. It's very enjoyable. - Bradley Cook
you might get sick on this ride! Don't do it after a big meal - Joe Murphy
This area is an internet dead spot so don't be surprised when you lose your signal & internet connectivity. Don't want to be using your phone when you go through the gate anyway. - Ron Sidwell
Beautiful vista. The slit windows produce rainbows on the walls like a slit lamp if you are there at the right time of day. - Bradford Riley
Beautiful view from the top and a great workout. Do not wear flip flops or you'll have to leave your shoes and climb to the top barefoot- not fun. - Michelle Pratt
We loved watching a movie here! Comfortable seats too - Hollie Sick
They make their own beer here. Ask for a sampler to try them all. - Ricky Potts
