Very upmarket bar . Bright and trendy . Lots of choice of great real ales and craft keg beer .
Plenty of "suits" due to it being in the financial district of the city . Regardless of that, a fantastic addition to the Birmingham bar scene, 20 - 25 pumps of draft real/craft/ale/beer...A must.
Scotch eggs and pork pies were nice and went well with beer
If the crowds on Fridays put you off, come back on a Sunday afternoon. You will get a table, and a moment's peace to properly examine the beer menu !
Would be nicer if there were less "suits". Very cool urban bar with amazing beer choice . Very confusing Male and Female toilet signage!
Woodland mushrooms on toasted sourdough - delicious! The portion is quite big for a starter. Amazing. Desserts yummy too.
Crispy whitebait is really nice especially with beer
Possibly the best scotch egg ever.
I can recommend the Mac and Cheese with bacon bits ! Good food and a lively buzz!
Lovely bar , not tried the food but a good selection of beers and lagers . Bit shiny, but otherwise good.
Choice beer of different origins. Quality food with reasonable prices. (*^。^*)
On the current beer list go for 13, 14 and 16 if you're looking to expand your horizons!
Great range of cask & keg beers . Local and international range.
Very cool place, good for one drink as it is a bit expensive
If you are still hungry try the chocolate brownie ...
Fantastic beer selection and excellent quality food.
10% off flights of beer with an Independent Birmingham card.
Wide selection of beers , hearty but quality food
Awesome selection of craft beers
Decent meal, decent beer .
Busy bar upstairs? There is now seating downstairs.
Don't have the fish & chips . £15 for overcooked fish - the batter was like armour plate and the chips scaggy, skinny ones. Grossly over priced. I expected much better from a meal devised by Simpson's.
Spicy nuts :)
Great Staff !
Good bear selection!
Straight scratchings in a glass were class !

Overrated and overpriced! Dispite that it's good...
Great selection of house and guest beers on draft, plus extensive bottle offer. Great staff, always happy to help you find the beer that will make you happy. - Daniel Rio Tinto
Wonderful selection of drinks, great atmosphere and nice looking good menu. Had the atmosphere of an American bar, which I liked a lot. - Matthew McConkey
Amazing food, really loved the fish and chips (not very Indian I know) Marsala spiced chips.. Yum. And the honey beer tastes like honey and lemon lockets..???? - Tim Pollard
Great ale selection. Definitely worth the visit for an enthusiast. - Ben White
Amazing scotch duck eggs. Do not leave without trying the bacon jam. - Adrian Lee
It’s an authentic place to be, great beer and the food is amazing! Try the frontier now that’s a nice beer! - Jim Lawrence
