Biergarten am Chinesischen Turm

Huge biergarten with plenty of tables. There's a band on the Chinese tower playing traditional music , nice atmosphere. There's a restaurant and a self-service with typical German food (and beer ofc!)

Very large portions . Clearly designed with tourists in mind, although this isn't a bad thing. Surrounding park is great both before and after one visits the biergarten itself.

8/10 I've been sometimes here and I like it. Sometimes it is the best place to enjoy your beer with your lunch but I believe wherever you go inside the English Park you'll enjoy it maybe much further.

Great place to hit during Oktoberfest if you want a more mellow experience! Liters of beer , pretzels , and sausages with no crowds!

Traditional German beer garden with everything you would expect from such institution. Quite expensive when compared to some less known alternatives nearby.

A "must visit" in Munich. Typical variety of Bavarian cuisine, great Weiss Beer , and of course, the Band playing "Que viva España" and other typical German songs...

The best biergarten in Munich! 1L of beer + sausages and frites for 12€. You gotta do this if you visit Munchen ;)

very touristic spot. huge biergarten . however, it's still possible and likely that you will enjoy 1L of beer from "maß" even if you are not exactly a fan of crowded places.

Very good place to drink the beer , eat good food and, of course, meet new friends! Note, if you get your beer before joining food queue then waiting will be better :)

Lovely atmosphere (not as touristy as the e.g. the Hofbräuhaus). Want to have a "double beer garden experience"? Talk a fifteen-minute walk through the park to the "Seeshaus".

Try and find something with a view of the live band if you can. Or at least somewhere where you can hear them. Also some places here have table service.

The ‘English Garden ’ is Munich’s green lung — and one of the biggest parks in the world. In the Chinesischer Turm (Chinese Tower ) beer garden you can relax and enjoy a beer .

Wonderful music , beautiful forest scenery, and amazing beer . Chinesischer Turm is definitely one of my favorite biergartens !

Not the best, but the best known beer garden . If you like the TV show "Upstairs, Downstairs" & its the 3rd Sunday in July: show up at 5 am and enjoy "Kocherlball "

Great BeerGarden and live bavarian music . The pretzels are no so good but red sausages with potatoes are much better!! :)

If the Hendl (fried chicken ) is out have the Leberkäs instead! But have a Maß of beer .

Amazing place to have a beer at the Englisch Garten. Prefer to go on weekends as some of the restaurants might be closed on business days.

I love this beer garden in the middle of Englischer Garten. Very touristy , but it doesn't matter.

If you're staying at the Hilton Munich Park and you don't make the 5 minute walk here you're just wrong.

There is a restaurant called "Gaststatte Chinesischer Turm". It is near turm. But this restaurant sucks. Never ever go there. The taste of the cakes are bad, cakes are not fresh.waitresses are rude.

There are several self-service area, which offer the very same food and beer . The place serves Hofbräu

A bit touristy bit good comfort food from Germany and go walk in the park it is very relaxing

You can buy a big or small mug from them here for 2.80 euros each! And they are like 10 euros at the actual haufbrauhaus!

A bit expensive maybe for beers , it's 8,40€ for 1 litre, but the atmosphere and surroundings are great

Food and drink is a tiny bit more expensive here but the mood is always good. There is a Christmas Market here in December. Don't order obatzda here! It sucks!

Has to be done at least once. It's massive so always seats available. Have a halb Hendl & Pommes with your mass.

There's no need to steal those fantastic beer glasses. You can buy them for €2.80. That's only 1.80 extra

For all foreigners: In all munichs Biergarten it's allowed to bring your own food with you. Only drinks you have to buy on site :-)
