It is a place you need to go when it is dark! The restaurant is like a park and you feel like enjoying your dinner in the jungle! As desert , go for the death of chocolate ;-)

The Crispy Duck rice - generous & delicious! The vegetable spring rolls - OK. Death by Chocolate cake - light & sweet, not life changing. Staff was excellent, warm & gave me a tour of the garden :)

Atmosphere is amazing, the back garden is like paradise. Portions are tiny, shrimp cocktail was soaked with ketchup .. Food took forever but was worth the wait. We had the Bali Tuna and Chicken steak .

Plate for 2 is amazing -possibility to try many different Indonesian dishes and all were very tasty. Also nice drink, we tried the traditional one with arak and rice wine - café combo. Beautiful spot!

Such a cool atmosphere and friendly staff . Great location and beautiful gardens . However the "death by chocolate " is not that good. I don't know why everyone is raving about it.

Tried the aubergine balado and grilled snapper today - absolutely amazing. One of the best eggplant dishes I’ve had in my life.

I went back Wayan after two years and the same good quality. Extremely friendly staff , magical atmosphere and very good balinese food. Also I love the black rice pudding here.

Banana crepes are to die for. Much better than Death by Chocolate . Avocado juice is very good. From the food order Balinese Special-very taste.

Great breakfast - make sure you choose a sitting table near the back for a truly authentic experience. Serves a nice mix of local and international foods. Great service

Try the Indonesian porridge breakfast , it's amazing! Make sure you take a spot in their garden . It's beautiful and very peaceful .

2x tested, nice service, great meals a la card nothing fancy but the sunday all u can eat is pure traditional balinese food. Bit pricy but buffet worth it

This is the famous Cafe Wayan as mentioned in Eat Pray Love. Their strawberry cheesecake and mango lassi are nice and simple. However, be prepared to spend a fair bit here

Highly overrated! The Death by Chocolate tasted like it was bought at the grocery store and Strawberry cheesecake wasn't cheesecake . It was strawberry shortcake with whipped cream in the middle.

The place is really costly. Stuffed crab was good but a little more salty than I prefer. Pumpkin soup is good but the portion is tiny. Chef dom doms was ok (sate ayam is the best there).

Delicious Mie Goreng , great atmosphere, beautiful setting and excellent staff ! Must agree with some others: the cakes are not THAT good. We tried both the Death by Chocolate and the Coconut Meringue .
