You smell the goodness when you're biking down the street. Great, healthy whole-wheat breads (also spelt and zuurdesem) in this traditional bakery
One of Amsterdam's most classic bakeries . I found their different breads to be of good standard albeit nothing extraordinary. There was a long line outside indicating its popularity.
Spelt muffin is just right and the long gingerbread filled with marzipan and topped with almonds is tasty.
I could eat a Hartog sandwich everyday
Great volkorenbrood (bread ) and gevulde koeken. Bakery with long family tradition.
