John F. Kennedy Memorial Plaza is a plaza Dallas County Texas located in United States.
646 Main St (bt S Market & Record Sts) Dallas , TX 75202 United States
When you think of Dallas, most people think of JFK so this is a must visit spot when in the town . Very informational, and very historical. A great place to take young children who don't know about JFK
A must see after the museums and a place to reflect on what you have read and learnt about JFK and the assassination .
This 30-foot-high monument was erected in 1970. The open-air structure in the historic West End resembles an ancient tomb. It's the first memorial by famed architect & Kennedy friend Philip Johnson.
From the outside it looks like a giant box with Lego walls, but inside it's actually very peaceful .
The memorial itself is OK. However, JFK museum that is around the corner is much better place to visit to learn about JFK's life and contribution to US.
I wish the fountain was working. If Arlington National Cemetery can keep an Eternal Flame lit, Dallas can keep a fountain running.
The view you can take a horse and Carriage from North Star carriage company for nice tour !
It's a simple place made to reflect upon the loss of JFK.
Beautiful plaza . Great to check out and do the self guided tour of the area.
John F. Kennedy Memorial Plaza at 8 minutes drive to the northeast of Dallas dentist Dulce Dental
I heard they are changing that big concrete joke of a tribute to something better with a life size statue of JFK. Lots of people looking to get paid to tell you about the area.
Very hard to get a full photo without others in the shot! Be prepared to spend a lot of time!
Good to bring your school age child for them to learn more about this history.
Visit the infamous grassy knoll and leave flowers at the monument near the route on which JFK was assassinated . #seemoresights

Reflective . Try to visit at off times since mire powerful w/o distractions. At night, ights add to effect
Amazingly, there's not many people here usually. Great place to relax and think.
Great stop for history buffs!
A serene tribute to a great American president .
cool historic location
Wonderful place
Great historical marker
Love you always JFK! ❤️❤️❤️
Paying our respects.
Feels sad here.
Very simple and moving.
We never found the famous "x" that is where president JFK was shot. There should be signs pointing the direction as for a first time visitor this is a must.
They took the X away, not good that was history.
A very emotional site.
Duck!
Conociendo algo de cultura del dueño de mi nombre. .!
Espectacular!! 👊🏼
Demasiado patriotismo jaja
Fascinating to be standing in the middle of history. and a little eerie, but a must! - John Duncan
What a great museum. Very well done. If your in Dallas Tx and into history it’s a must. It has a parking lot , parking is $10 for I think 12 hours. It’s a self guided auto tour. 👍 - The Traveler
Amazing to be standing in an area that marks our history so much. That with the Book Depository Museum. Is a must if your in the area. - The Traveler
Cloud 9... fantastic views, wonderful touchscreen digital monitors, decent food (not spectacular, but not bad), great family spot (kids had an absolute blast)! Parking across from the Hilton $5-$6. - Super Dad
