When you think of Dallas, most people think of JFK so this is a must visit spot when in the town . Very informational, and very historical. A great place to take young children who don't know about JFK

Rickard Jonsson

A must see after the museums and a place to reflect on what you have read and learnt about JFK and the assassination .

HISTORY

This 30-foot-high monument was erected in 1970. The open-air structure in the historic West End resembles an ancient tomb. It's the first memorial by famed architect & Kennedy friend Philip Johnson.

Erik Rowley

From the outside it looks like a giant box with Lego walls, but inside it's actually very peaceful .

Constantin

The memorial itself is OK. However, JFK museum that is around the corner is much better place to visit to learn about JFK's life and contribution to US.

The Yink

I wish the fountain was working. If Arlington National Cemetery can keep an Eternal Flame lit, Dallas can keep a fountain running.

Lauren

The view you can take a horse and Carriage from North Star carriage company for nice tour !

Mark

It's a simple place made to reflect upon the loss of JFK.

Justin Lisenby

Beautiful plaza . Great to check out and do the self guided tour of the area.

I heard they are changing that big concrete joke of a tribute to something better with a life size statue of JFK. Lots of people looking to get paid to tell you about the area.

Eric Shine

Very hard to get a full photo without others in the shot! Be prepared to spend a lot of time!

John Richards

Good to bring your school age child for them to learn more about this history.

Feels sad here.

Marina

Very simple and moving.

We never found the famous "x" that is where president JFK was shot. There should be signs pointing the direction as for a first time visitor this is a must.

Chad Robinson

They took the X away, not good that was history.
