I tried 5 different lobster rolls on my Maine visit and this was by far the best lobster roll ! They give you so much meat, it's super fresh, and the right balance of mayo/butter to lobster . Yum!!!
The most authentic place we went to during our stay. Make sure you save room for the whole lobster . Looks like it would be a blast to sit outside during the summer as well . Great view .
Come for the lobster and stay for the views . Each buttered roll is filled with large chunks of soft-shell lobster meat and a dollop of mayo . Read more
Get the lobster roll and take it to one of the picnic tables outside on a nice day. Great food, even better view if it's clear out!
Excellent lobster rolls , but your meal won't be complete without a huge slice of rhubarb pie
A Maine Must for lobster . Grab a picnic table with the ocean view and enjoy the simple pleasures of Portland at it's best.
#FabuLIST #DubiDO come to the lobster shack for some delicious fresh lobster rolls , fries , and coleslaw . Sit at one of the picnic tables and enjoy the views .
Strawberry rhubarb pie will change your life. Consider getting multiple items and sharing with a few friends!
Lobster rolls and clam strips are amazing. Eat outside on the ocean but head up on Seagulls! Iconic Maine must do!
Lobster and Rhubarb Pie makes a wonderful lunch . Just get there early, because by 12:30 the line gets quite long.
Come for the lobster , onion rings , and scallops . Stay for the view . Linger for the view . Take it all in: this is Maine.
Gets busy so would try not to go a peak times. Order from the line and then wait for you to be given a table
Order the Lobster Dinner , complete with a whole steamed lobster , onion rings , coleslaw , biscuit , butter for dipping and a whoopie pie . As seen on Travel Channel’s Man v. Food Nation.
$20 lobster !!!! My favorite food experience in Portland. Super chill picnic style in a beautiful setting. Go in the summer.
Can be a little on the pricey side, but you'll be surprised how much better a lobster roll tastes when you're looking at a lighthouse . The best "dining room" on the East Coast.
Absolutely amazing view , but the food was ok. You can find a better lobster roll elsewhere. Also, be aware they have limited parking since the place is so popular
Husband and I shared a lobster meal (a pound lobster with cole slaw , fries and biscuit ) and a large fried clam side and drinks (refill free at dispenser). It was awesome eating under the umbrella shad
lobster roll boat - comes with fries and coleslaw . parking can be tough but the views are beautiful! Maine blueberry pie also really good
Lobster rolls are awesome. Fried clams are great. Clam chowder is legit. Must stop when in ME.
Best view and classic lobster rolls . Strawberry rhubarb pie was awesome!
WE'VE BEEN COMING HERE FOR 18 YEARS- LIVE NEARBY. ALWAYS BEEN EXPENSIVE DUE TO THE SPOT, BUT THEY'VE GONE TOO FAR: $18 FOR ONE SMALL PIECE OF HADDOCK , A FEW FRIES, THIMBLE OF SLAW & CUP OF SODA .
Friend seafood is amazing and the view can't be beat!
Best classic lobster roll in Maine. Fried clams are also recommended. BYOB
This little seafood joint set on Maine's rocky shore has Bon Appetit, Gourmet Magazine, and The Boston Globe singing its praises.
Tasty lobster and great views !
Must see on any trip to Maine! Food is great and the view is breathtaking.
A summer classic, many find it worth the wait. The quintessential lobster roll overlooking the rocky coast.
Great fried clams , great view friendly staff
My favorite fish and chips in the area.

If you're going for lunch , get there well before noon and grab a shaded table as soon as possible!
Will take cash or credit, but the machine was down so keep some cash money on hand..at least $20. It's an expensive lobster shack!
Not the best food, but they do okay with the lobster roll . What you're paying for is the view .
Great little lobster roll
Ocean view and fried seafood .
The lobster roll is excellent but the clam chowder didn't meet expectations, too thin...
Fresh lobster but not good value
Wait in line . It's worth the wait!
Get a lobster roll and some fried clams . Take in the view , smell the salt air, and enjoy. Read more
2nd best lobster roll ever. For #1 you need to go to NYC.

World class lobster rolls !
Lobster rolls on the cliffs overlooking the sea.
Lobster rolls !!! Scallops & clam strips !
Foods is so good but soo expensive ! Lobster roll could of used more meat.
don't go at lunchtime - parking is crazy and so are the fried clams ... mmm
Extremely overrated. Huge lines , terrible service and tiny portions. Lobster rolls hardly had any lobster meat .
Go here for the view . Lobster roll I felt was mediocre.
The banana pecan pancakes are really good! Go for a single though...they're pretty big! - Charlie
Attentive staff, outside seating with a serene view...try the risotto or the paella, but be sure to save room for dessert! - Charlie
Great to explore and many great photo locations. A small playground also. - Rebecca
A great place to explore or just find a nice rock to sit and watch the waves come in! - Heidi Cocca
Great Ice Cream with tons of flavors. Coffee Oreo is great. - Wesley Callahan
