Chill UES speakeasy w/ excellent, creative cocktails ...esp "Maya Made" & "Unforgiven" made by Dan! Kitchen closes ~11:30pm. Just wish that food matched sophistication of cocktail menu & hip factor!
Great 4 a nightcap or 2! :) Late-nite menu: Veal Pilmenis, Duck Confit Blintzes , Potato Latkes & Pierogies (wish 4 more pastrami items!) Opens Sun-Thur 5pm-12am; Fri-Sat 5pm-2am. Kitchen closes ~11pm.
Amazing new cocktail bar ... with fancy , yet old-school bar bites with Jewish flavors!!! Cocktails are named hilariously and taste incredible, so many fun twists to all the drinks!
Secret little speakeasy . Think old school Jewish food fusion, tapas style . And the drinks are on point. Wonderful staff and ambiance. Loved it!!
Speakeasy feeling lounge . Cozy and romantic , great for a date. Bone marrow and deviled eggs great. Fantastic drinks: mezcal based El Niño is a favorite.
This place is great. Low key speakeasy , with a Jewish twist! Menu has traditional Jewish foods , tapas style . Cocktails were great!
NO LONGER $19 deal but pricier $22 HH special 5-7pm: 1 cocktail + 1/2 sandwich (hot pastrami , hot brisket , corned beef , roast beef , or roasted turkey ). Just wish Sours were comp'ed like downstairs.
Loved the sliders , meat plate, and choc babka . The popcorn was meh.
