New Restaurant Ipoh Chicken Rice (新怡保鸡饭店)

I went for breakfast and took wan tan mee ... must say it surprise me and it taste very good. Minus point is the lousy foreign workers service.

Used to be much better. Jatuh standard alot already, even normal coffeeshop chicken rice is better (and cheaper).

If you want standard chicken rice , make sure you tell the fellow you want the chicken on top the rice , or else they give you separate plate=$$$

There no wifi here when I came, free or password protected. The service sucks. The waiters don't understand simple English and put us 4 in a tiny table for 2 even when the clearly have other tables

Lotus root soup tastes good. Pity they use the cheap local lotus roots instead of d better ones from China...

Ok food wise but the staff don't give a rat 's ass about diner comfort after 9 pm. They talk super loud and clanging/dropping of bowls, plates takes place every second.

Order Bali hot Bt taste like plain water. Told the waiter ,he say memang Macam Ni.. Don know y still so many ppl come to tis outlet..

Rice n chicken too oily. Place doesn't feel clean . Floor oily. A place to have a quick dinner is fine.

Buttermilk fish is awesome. Give it a try.

Char siu is great ,the rest is pretty ok.

The Kampong Chicken is overrated, try the normal chicken is softer and tastier.

Nothing great to shout about the noodles . Have had it better some other places. have not tried the rice part so dont intend to either.

Too salty and taste artificial. Kampung chicken taste just like normal chicken and the staff told us, 'there are many types of kampung chicken you know!'

They served me 8 small slices of char siew with 80% fats. Drinks came out when I finished my food. Extremely disappointed.

A bit too oily for my liking. Come early though, quite full on weekends & they run out of stuff.
