We stopped by for a quick visit to see the Minnehaha Falls. It’s one of my favorite places in Minneapolis. The 53 foot falls are a sight to behold and are truly amazing in the winter when it’s frozen.
It's hard to believe that there is such a beautiful waterfall and nature area so close to a bustling metropolitan area. Also, the in-park restaurant Sea Salt Eatery is a can't-miss! Try the Po-Boy!
We braved this hike at 90 degree weather and it was totally worth it! Recommend climbing to the top of the stairs if you're feeling up for it!

There is a sign telling you not to go behind the falls ... The very worn path past the sign tells you the ineffectiveness of said sign.
Beautiful walking trails and waterfalls . Makes for a relaxing walk. Parking is cheap .
Great place to spend the day, $0.75/hr parking in lot and free on streets. Take the path past the falls and all the way to Ft. Snelling park .
