Knoxville Museum of Art

Knoxville is lucky to have such fine representation as the KMA. The Curator and Staff are incredibly helpful and well informed regarding their presentation and pieces.

The contemporary permanent collection is awesome. Other stuff is hit and miss.

The giant Lite Brite in the Creative Corner is fun for kids and adults alike.

A pleasant small museum .

Free admission - but alas, not visitor friendly . No backpacks. You can leave at desk- but if you don't want to, you're out of luck.

In the summer, KMA offers a variety of Summer Art sessions for kids of all ages.

Currently the miniatures on the first floor are closed. Sad for the little girls I brought.

Interesting exhibits . Gallery management can be quite rude.
