Perfect setting on the water with a view of the Seattle skyline! It's a very casual spot with a bar as well . We loved the GF tacos , kimchi quesadillas , sliders and lychee margaritas . Lots of flavor!

You just can't beat the prices or the view ...and that's why there's a line ! Seriously, yummy, affordable Hawaiian fusion ($3 kalua sliders !), and a killer view across the bay of Seattle's skyline.

Tacos are killer, spam sliders hit a not often scratched spot, kimchi fried rice is a must have. The menu is definitely at the intersection of a lot of good food, so purists may wanna keep it pushing

Loved it! Unexpected find. Great placement right at the water taxi drop off. Being from Hawaii, I was pleasantly surprised. Had the Kalua Pig quesadilla & spam musubi . Also Hawaiian sun drinks? WIN.

The kalbi taco salad was so good! The pickled japalenos complement the sweetness of the marinade and the slaw . Also liked the macaroni salad , classic w/ a slight twist of added spam

Love the kimchi fried rice and the specialty cocktails . The view isn't bad either.

Order the spam musubi and always get the jalapeño fizz if you like cocktails with a kick! Lots of seating and a long table w outlets for solo diners along the wall. So happy they've finally arrived.

Kalbi Beef Taco and Pork Slider was great. Fried Rice was just OK for me. View is amazing and a good sized patio . They'll add alcohol to your shaved ice ! Careful, melts quick.

Fish tacos with pickled onions and crema . Delish! But they're tiny, so if you're hungry get a few. Or order some Spam Musubi for a side. And a guava shave ice too!

You can't go wrong with the Aloha Sliders or Kimchi Quesadillas ! The best kept secret is adding West Seattle's Husky Deli 's Vanilla Ice Cream to their Shave Ice .

If you want to avoid the long lines at the front, which can extend out the door, go around to the bar where the line is shorter. The patio has a "drinks only" window too.

If you're coming from Downtown, take the Water Taxi across the sound--it arrives at Ma Kai's doorstep--for good views and a relaxing trip.

Their shave ice syrups are all housemade ! Lilikoi, guava & lychee are my faves!

Order from the side window...assuming you're getting alcohol . So much faster! Also, kimchi fried rice is a must.

Beef tacos and fries are awesome and affordable ! Great atmosphere right on the water.

The view is one of the best parts about this place, however their food holds its own, and their specialty drinks give them a boost above their competition!

Make this a day trip. Take the foot ferry from downtown to west Seattle. You can hang out over there for a bit.

When you get a bunch of tacos and you want to know which is which ask them to put them in separate containers. I didn't eat any of my tacos because I couldn't tell which we're pork v.s. chicken .

Fish tacos- stay away, everything else is good. Especially if yur from CA. These are beyond sad fish tacos lacking in substance, presentation or flavor. Spicy pork tacos are the exact opposite but

This is a great spot! It has a great view of the Seattle skyline. Plus the food is cheap and hits you in all the right places.

It turns out, spam musubi and a (virgin) bloody mary make the perfect snack after a long run.

If your going to order a drink with your food, order at the bar because you can put in your food order there too and our will be a lot quicker than waiting in the main line

The fish taco was really good, the ginger chicken and kalbi beef tacos were ok. The shave ice is not like the real hawaiian shave ice I've had and I wouldn't recommend it.

Tacos are amazing and the Hawaiian fries are crazy filling

I love the food here but their pricing is ridiculous. Over $23 for two Loco Mocos after tax is a joke, especially when the beef patty is tiny, as are the eggs . It's like 80¢ worth of ingredients max.

This is a well kept secret. Great food and spirits with an unbeatable view of Seattle's skyline.

Try the shave ice . Lots of wonderful house made syrups to choose from. My favorite is coconut and guava .

Great fish and chips here with unique tartar sauce

Bulgogi & pulled pork tacos are pretty good but small. Don’t forget to ask for extra taco sauce. Kimchi fried rice was too dry. Good margaritas .
