Not sure about getting in at first but ended up having one of the best fast meals in town . Space is good in its own style, the cali steak zapato the real deal. Service is ok

Crazy Dave is amazing, get his double cheeseburger and add a fried egg . The seared ahi tuna taco is huge, and don't miss the fully loaded steak fries either! (Ask about the beers too!)

Huge fan of the Dave Double. One of the better burgers I’ve ever had in SF. Love the thick tortilla chips and selection of craft beers on tap , too.

Cali steak zapato has fries inside and is delicious! Cheeseburger is greasy and so american cheesy but worth trying at least once. Off night perhaps but the carnitas taco had no flavor. Cash only .

The burger here is one of the best. Zapatos are very good too (pressed burritos ). The only drawback is that it gets packed at lunch & happy hour !

Had the Carnitas Fries for the first time the other day. AWESOME!!! Crispy fries , and really good carne asada with a lot if guacamole . Only $8. Now on my regular rotation.

Get a cali steak zapato . Just the right amount of food and super delicious. Grab some interesting looking hot sauce from their wide selection and order a weird looking beer to complete your meal.

We stumbled upon this retro spot. Order at the bar and find your own seating. Just say yes to the zapatos and the “fake news margaritas”... The zapatos are huge and shareable!

Good place. Lots of great beer . Can be really busy and loud after work hours on work days. Haven't tried the food yet so can't comment.

Tacolicious. Difficult to go wrong with any of the tacos here, all of which are tasty, flavourful and perfectly assembled.

The best local spot for hangover cures ; greasy, yet delicious food, combined with amazing beers (hair of the dog). No crap on tap !

Bring cash for the Cadillac taco and some really interesting beers . Chill place for any casual occasion.

You can't go wrong with anything you get here! But I recommend the Cali Steak Zapatos and their street style tacos (they are only $3 each!).

Epic ahi Tuna taco & Cali burrito (there are French fries inside, but it doesn't feel like a filler!), but the steak and shrimp taco was just okay. Great local beer selection . Come on a taco Tues!

Cute decor with street signs. Easy to walk past so make sure you keep your eyes pealed when looking for it. Zapatos had fresh avocado but too many beans. Get the carne asana fries to share!

Outdoor entrance was unassuming but once inside the atmosphere is fantastic, great casual mix of American and Mexican.

I love that a bar can have complimentary iphone 5 chargers at the tables, but still be cash-only (also the zapatos, tacos , and beer selection are all amazing, especially given the area)

It's great for burritos and tacos if you work nearby. It's Mexican style food with an American twist. They only accept cash and there's an ATM inside the local.

This place is a great interpretation of mexican food . They don't try to seem authentic and fail, they take the best of street mexican food and mix it with an american twist. Recommended.

My favourite Mexican restaurant outside of Chipotle (ha). The Cali Steak zapato is to die for, and the beer selection ain't bad either.

Lots of good beer (and they clearly dig good beer ) and I love a good crispy tortilla , so the Zapatos are the way to go.

I know everyone gets a zapato here. But the burger is actually pretty fabulous and super overlooked.

The Como Se Llama Taco is kind of awesome. Worth the $6 for it's size and quality, and I love the double textures of the two tortillas .

Their hand-pattied, drive-in style cheeseburger is among the best in the city for the price.

A zapato is a burrito but without the rice and they are very good. Lines out the door for lunch , but chill in the evening.

Seared Ahi Tuna taco is delicious. Also, surprisingly great is the vegetarian Zapato even for meat eaters.

When going on dates, choose the Zapatos, it doesn't get sloppy and drip everywhere. Cali steak is a very tasty bet.

You can't go wrong with a burger , fries , and a beverage (they have a great craft beer selection ).

Crazy Dave's Double is the way to go, but be warned: the "plain" burger includes some sort of combo ketchup/mustard sauce.

Do you really need another tip telling you to get the burger here? No. Add jalapeños , though, because why wouldn't you? (They're free btw)
