The fancy dinner set up is completely different from the tech-crowd-friendly lunch setup. Don't miss out on the orange sauce with your chips . It's awesome. Some good tacos for lunch .
Very unique place with really bomb Mexican food . Free chips and 3 salsas (orange one is amazing) are the tastiest. Chile Verde was fantastic and actually very filling.
Free chips are a great appetizer . Food is awesome, but be ready for really big dishes, most probably one main would be enough for a dinner . Great margaritas .
If you're vegetarian , order the tofu dish that's not on the menu (your waiter will know what you're talking about)—It's amazing! I substituted veggies for the rice and asked for no potatoes—Delicious!
There is but one true sauce: the orange one
Best lunch burrito downtown! Their beans and rice are vegan and you can get tofu or veggies . Plus a great salsa bar .
Very lively with really good Mexican food . Complimentary salsas are the best. Pazole Vegetariano was delicious and very much a comfort food . Also, less expensive than any other dinning rest. in FiDi.
Looks fancier than it is (in a good way), but one of the best food options around the malls . Fresh chips and top notch salsa selection. Try the al pastor taco with pineapple .
Their fried plantain appetizer is amazing! The environment is nice, family friendly , friendly staff , their salsa with chips is also amazing! My husband and I really liked the chile de arbol salsa .
The nachos and house margaritas are amazing. We showed up during happy hour so the full menu wasn’t available, but I’ll definitely be back !
Tropisueño Tortas !!!! All of the meats that they make, on a sandwich with guac , what more can you ask for?!
happy hour deals are great! delicious $5 pint-sized house margaritas and cheap tacos . only goes from 4-6PM. usually plenty of room to sit outside but it can be chilly so bring a light jacket .
The food is so tasty, I wouldn't believe it! Great options for vegetarians , my choice is veggie cesadiliya. They offer some guacamole with it - take it, it's worth it! And black beans as a side :)
This is the perfect place for happy hour ! With great prices on margaritas and complimentary chips and dip - it's one of the best places to meet after work or a long day.
Delicious Mexican food in a loud but welcoming environment. Definitely recommend making a reservation if you come here for dinner .
They do fast casual for lunch and turn into a sit down restaurant for dinner . All food is fantastic! The carne torta was an excellent lunch . Don't forget your margarita !
chips and orange salsa are great. and ask for a mezcal cocktail with pineapple , I forget the name but it's wonderful
The ceviche "try all three" plate might not be enough for one person, and definitely not enough to share - the plate is the same size as the table salsa platter.
Salsa trio is out of this world - especially the spicy habanero . If you’re a fan of ????, I recommend the Huaraches "Tres Cochinitas ". Enjoy!
Good margaritas . I have had better on the peninsula great friendly service I felt happy to be here. Bartender was friendly and the waiter who took our table was as well . Will come back.
Awesome Mexican food , different tastes and nice staff and atmosphere. Make sure to taste the chicken with chocolate !
Really delicious, hearty Mexican food . I've never done the sit down service but I love their burritos and their salsa bar is killer. Go for the carnitas !!
Hands down, the best tortilla chips in SF! Perfect amount of oil, salt and crunchiness.
Tacos are great. Salads are huge with jicama. Salsas and chips are the best, thin and crispy .
New here? 1. Look at the menu on the left. 2. Walk forward and order. Know what you want. 3. Go to cashier , order your drink and pay. 4. Go to salsa bar . 5. Sit and wait. Overwhelming when busy & new!
Great spot for lunch during the week. Line can get long but moves very fast. Tortilla chips are free if you’re dining in.
Great spot for big groups. Came here with the girls before Purim party - delicious guacamole . Try hard not to fill up on chips before!
The food was good. The chili relleno was good. Surprising variety of sauces and salsa makes this a really good place to try in the Financial District.
Looks high end but it's a very casual place . Try the margaritas and fried plantain appetizer . Skip the guacamole . Decent chips and salsa .
Get a margarita and spicy camarones .
Really good Mexican food very decent pricing! Per the waiter 's suggestion tried the Camarones al Mojo de Ajo and the Huaraches Tres Cochinitas and was not disappointed
Some of my favorite carnitas tacos around. The seasoning is perfect. And get some orange salsa for your chips . Or just to rub on your face.
Those tacos and chips really hit the spot, they also have really good tamales . Get yourself a Mexican coke and have a seat.
The carnitas taco is the pro move. Just don't forget to try the salsas from the salsa station.
I love their appetizers (ceviche , empanadas and molotes) and make a meal of those with a top shelf margarita (or two).
Come here for happy hour and enjoy your margaritas and sangria with delicious tacos , quesadillas , and flautas !
Taqueria by day, classy turn-the-lights-down-low restaurant by night. Awesome (free) chips , many salsas , and I recommend any of the super tacos .
Yes, the margaritas are that good. They use fresh ingredients not mixers. And two, the Mexican food is more on the authentic side, so don't go looking for bell grande bs. Get the pork chops .
Tropisueno adds a tropical spin to the Al Pastor taco with chunks of pineapple . A bit too greasy for my ???? liking.
The burritos and salsa bar are great: just line up at lunch and order Chipotle-style.
Really great and authentic mexican food . Excellent guacamole , and really good shrimp burrito .
One of the best HH I've found thusfar! $2 street tacos , $5 Rita's (way strong), $5 wells and $3 drafts ... Free chips (thin and prefect) and trio of awesome salsas !!!
If you're in the city and looking for mexican this is the best you'll get in a square mile! Affordable and great quality. 8/10.
Chips are served with 3 kinds of salsa , all are tasty. I had the eponymous dinner entree ; all of us in the group cleaned our plates. Beer was cold, service was fast. Place was a little noisy .
Love the chips and salsa here. The salsa bar covers a diverse set of flavors and spice levels. All of them are fantastic!
The chicken vegetable soup is great. It was the perfect pick-me up on a sick day + low carb . A splurge ($11) but 10x better than other soup companies.
Incredible chips and collection of salsas ! Great for dinner or lunch . Try the salmon entree at dinner and combo platters for lunch
Ceviche of tilapia was about 3 tablespoons of fish and avocado $12, Camarones Tropisueno is large and comes with tortillas $20.
Sunday happy hour is the perfect way to start the week! The salbutes are delicious with the $7 house margaritas . ????
Love the atmosphere. If you are hungry then the 2 enchiladas and tamale is the way to go! Well priced
I love that a bar can have complimentary iphone 5 chargers at the tables, but still be cash-only (also the zapatos, tacos, and beer selection are all amazing, especially given the area) - Chris ???? Makarsky
Everything is fantastic, but for your first try definitely get the asada burrito with black beans. Unusually big seating area for a taqueria means you can usually find a spot for a group too. - Matthew
Excellent Mexican food, and pretty affordable too. Try the fried chicken quesadilla, the duck confit tacos, the meatball appetizer, and definitely the chocolate mousse dessert. Amazingness!! - The Taste Sheriff
You must try the Dolby theater if audio quality is important to you. It’s the best in the city. - Tantek Çelik
Possibly the best park in San Francisco: great views, inspirational quotes, and a playground with slides! - drew tarvin
Try the Local Edition Cocktail. Great place for drinks after work. Plenty of space so you don't need a reservation. - David ☕️ Klein
