Sergels torg (in English: Sergel's Square) is the most central public square in Stockholm, Sweden, named after 18th century sculptor Johan Tobias Sergel, whose workshop was once located north of the square.

A huge square with lot's of entertainment possibilities (shopping, coffee , sightseeing). From the T-Centralen Metro station you have two exits either to Central Train Station or Sergels Torg.
Christmas lights , wonderful christmas lights decorate this part of town during the winter months. 671647 lights throughout the city 2013. The reindeers are a highlight for many, 7 meters tall.

Very cool place at night with all the lights, and specially in Christmas season with the decorations!
I would say to keep off this part as there are a lot of drug dealers and alcoholics in this area.
Avoid the big stairs, or the top of the stairs if you don't wanna be in the middle of chaos. That's where all the youths gather and just hang out..
So much to see. Lots of shops and cafés around.
