Kungsträdgården (Swedish for "King's Garden") is a park in central Stockholm, Sweden. It is colloquially known as Kungsan.
Kungsträdgården 103 21 Stockholm Sweden
Months of May and June have got to be the best time to visit, when the cherry trees are in blossom - stunning!????????
Autumn Glory in Kungsträdgården! The park used to be the Kings kitchen garden in the 1400s, in the 15 and 1600s it was known as a garden of lust where the kings and queens came to frolic in the sun.
A natural meeting point in the city center. In the summer you see people enjoying the sun. During winter you see them ice-skating. Lined with restaurants and cafés , a great place to people watch !
Nice park in the heart of Stockholm. Best time to visit is in the beginning of may when the cherry trees bloom. Go iceskating in the winter.
A park that is pretty popular during the summer. It's by the river and very close to old town , which adds to its charm.
A nice park that was now accessible to the public. It's a great park to stroll around when the weather is nice. Nice flowers .
Nice park to walk around - the cherry blossoms were starting to bloom. Bet this is a great spot in the summer with concerts and other activities :)
Karl XII's statue has mortars at each corner & points towards Russia, which he invaded in the early 1700's & suffered a huge defeat. Some call it "the lion between four pots" (NB he's a neo-Nazi icon)
Neat inner-city park close to where the sightseeing boats dock. Lined with small cafés , of which our favourite was the hut nearest the water (close to the statue of Karl XII).
Go for a slide in the ice in the central ice skating park . Incredible low prices and amazing place for the kids!!!
Beautiful square in Stockholm. Have a blast iceskating during winters and be amazed by the blossoming cherry trees during spring.
Experience multi-cultural Stockholm Culinary landscape at #SmakaPaStockholm Festival each year in early June.
You'll have the best time ice skating here in winter. Also known as Kungsan, this park is a popular hangout in the city . Don't miss the historical Charles XIII statue and Fountain by J. P. Molin.
The statue of Karl XIII has lions at each corner and is referred to as "the pot between four lions, referring to a Swedish slang expression for a coward (cf Karl XII).
One of the most beautiful places to visit in Stockholm during spring. The cherry blossom is fantastic and is a sight without a doubt.
Popular park to have lunch on sunny days. Beautiful cherry blossom trees during Spring time .
Magical during the spring and a fun place to be at both summer and winter . However, be aware of pickpockets and overpriced (but good) ice cream .
Open area garden with good place at the middle for the kids to play around

On sunny day, grab a drink at one of the cafes and people watch

Park without charm, without green, and totally dispensable. Part of the sides smell like garbage accumulation. Infinitely better Humlegården.
