A great park in a beautiful part of the city . If you're in town around late August , Stockholm Film Festival is having an outdoor cinema that you don't want to miss!

Great place to tan or bbq . Film festival (public movie viewing ) in the evening throughout August . Bring something to sit on, snacks and don't underestimate the evening chill . Sound was a problem.

Wander down this way anytime of the day for a great view of the lakeside of the city . In the background we see the island of Södermalm with the Munich Brewery , Riddarholmen and the Old Town .

In August , they show movies here as part of the Stockholm Film Festival . People start showing up at 6pm but the movie itself starts at 9pm.  It might get cold at night, so bring a jacket .

Great park , lots of space and next to the water :) amazing on a sunny day. Theres a restaurant/bar too

Late summer, during Stockholm Film Festival , they play open air movies in the park . Don't forget to a) bring something to sit on plus F&B and b) to come early as you are most likely not alone!

Big park with large grass areas , skatepark, beachvolley, boule and restaurant . Close to water but not always so tidy (goes for both park and water)

Very spacious , perfect to enjoy a sunny day outdoors with family, friends, pets !

Nice and vivid place. Perfect for bringing a bunch of friends to bbq , play games etc.

Outdoor gym , beach volley, skate park , steel hoops. Don't forget to swim in cool water after training .

Good place to hangout, BBQ , or watch free movies outdoors while Stockholm's film festival in August .

It is a nice park with a good view of lake Mälaren. Stay and relax here!

Nice walking routes to the park are along Norr Mälarstrand or over the Västerbron bridge from Södermalm .

Two perfect beach volleyball courses with great sand. Free to use but bring a net and a ball.

Bring a blanket, a bikini and beer .
