Delicious food, inexpensive plus it opens till late. Some dishes can be too spicy for the ordinary palate. It's 15-20 feet from our 4th floor apartment , so we plan to dine there often.
Okay so I didn't know that lamb in a dark coconut sauce was a thing and that was a big gap in my life this place has fixed. So delicious. They default to coconut rice , entirely worth a visit.
Mozambique cuisine is so good! I ate starter dinner and cake and of course beer from this country . I have been there around 7.30 PM and I was almost alone. After half hour restaurant was full :)
Delicious African food ???? Ask for spicy souce, it gives a good kick to the dish. Very friendly stuff , need to wait a bit for food but worth it????
ASk for the weekdays menu during lunch . Two drinks, main dish and coffee ! Delicious ! Lamb and wuca are my favorite dishes ! If you are a coconut fan as myself don't over think it ! ????
Unique mix of tastes from Mozambique and Portugal, with some flavours from India. Portions are huge and prices favorable. We had a little talk with the owner, who very good knows English.
Love the familiar atmosphere and delicious food. Highly recommended. Sit down and you'll see a cast of characters from the neighborhood pass by and say hi to the owners and chat for a few minutes.
A real gem, the lamb ribs and makoufe are absolute must try dishes. Friendly service and super lively atmosphere
Just great: everything. Try the frango! But the vegan food is also delicious.
Excellent olives , fries , samosas , and shrimp curry !! Crowded , energetic vibe which says a lot about the place!
The lamb dish is amazing! A bit spicy but probably the best dish I’ve had in a long while. 5 stars!
Excellent. Try getting two dishes and sharing. Lovely outside area and good value wine .
We had crab , coconut sauce , swordfish , mussels . A busy, busy little place hidden away and worth seeking out.
Some nice traditional dishes , African with Portuguese ingredients. Try the shrimp rise ones!
Sebastian is the best server and such a lovely person! However the food just needed a bit more of a kick. The chamussas need a tomato sauce and the lamb curry was too salty
Outdoor seating . Exciting Mozambican dishes (spicy Basra lamb ribs ). Also samosas
The lamb falls apart as you touch it, that’s how tender it is. Falls apart , I say.
Had the Makoufe - a coconut , crab and shrimp stew with greens. Was fantastic!
Amazing African food ! You have to try it. Cheap .
Samosas were awesome
Lamb chakuti is delicious !!! The makoufe is alright but too creamy. It pales in comparison to the chakuti
Unfortunately disappointed by a place that has no interest and is not cheap for what it is. Don't understand the enthusiasm. You can get much better in Lisboa!
Really yummy beef samosas but watch out for the very spicy sauce !
Pretty decent food, notably affrican influence, but easy on the pallet.
The meat with coconut rise was like my mom cooked!!

The lamb was excellent.
Great atmosphere, good food and friendly staff
Best in town a must
Lunchtime you can find the place just by the smell of chicken roasting on the grill.
Food was good, but nothing extraordinary. Superfriendly and helpful staff .
Brilliant atmosphere...
Sorry, verdwaald
Food was a bit bland. Poor service, ordered a second drink that never came even after reminding them about it but it showed up three times on the bill.
Waited one hour for the food :-/
The worst food I ever ate...The crab smelled like rotten ????
If I was living in Lisbon, it could be a place I come once in a while but as a tourist I don’t think you need to go out of your way to visit this placr
Einfach wunderbar etwas versteckt gelegen.
Vale a pena.
Recomendo.

This is a fado place with an excellent singer. Not sure the schedule, but they performed on a Tuesday. Try the prawns (gambas) al ajillo and the batatas fritas bravas. - Dragoş O
