Alexander's Patisserie

Although a bit pricy and pretentious , everything here is absolutely phenomenal. Hands down, Alexander's makes the best ham and cheese croissant I have ever had. Every bite elicits an exclamation.

Delicious sandwiches n chocolates . Although the waiter gave me the wrong sandwich , but it was tasty. Nice hangout place.

Lovely dessert selection: macaroons , tarts , pain au chocolat . Yum, yum, yum. Coffee portions if you dine in are huge. Love the elegant design too.

Wide variety of tarts , all were delicious. My favorite one was the orange choco ganache dome with the crispy choco covered dots around the side

You can’t go wrong with any of the pastries . My favorites are the lemon tart , monkey bread , and macarons . Service is slow, be prepared for a wait.

How does this place have a lower rating than La Panotiq ? This is the real deal, and La Panotiq is a cheap imitation that can't even bake a decent loaf of bread . Highly recommend for everything.

Amazing desserts and great service! Tried the vanilla tart and the religieuse. just like pierre herme in Paris.

The macaroons were amazing, very flavorful. I recommend the jasmine and lemon . Vanilla tart was also excellent!

The chocolate truffles are fantastic! Best truffles in the area since Monique (in Palo Alto) left for France.

I love Alexander's for its fancy furniture and delicious treats - the lemon tart is my favorite and an excellent selection of teas .

Very good macarons and canalés. Go early if you want a kouign amann !

Their baguettes are perfect: crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and ever so slightly sour.

Hot chocolate is not as rich as the one from La Panotiq , which is a block away from Alexander's Patisserie.

While I was trying to find the second half of ganache that is supposed to be in a macaron I found a grainy top with peaks 🙄

Very nice place for meetings. Their earl grey tea was great.

The croissants are great, the espresso mediocre and the anti-customer policies that obviously come from the owner (the staff are nice) are strong. I'll no longer come. Shame. Go to Red Rock or Dana.

It used to be a nice place to enjoy some over-priced desert but the quality went down. We got a stale chocolate tart that was so bad that 2 people couldn't finish it, resulting in some stomachache.

They have some nice breakfast options however expect to have carbs!

Service is slow. Macarons have an inconsistent consistency. Some chewy, some crunchy.

Everything's great, and worth the wait! I just dropped a mad rhyme. Does anyone even use "mad" anymore? Point is . . . don't let the trendy crowd scare you away, it's legit.

Desserts look pretty but taste leaves little to be desired.

The bakery is fine, but sandwiches were horrible

Pastries are too sweet and too expensive . People go there to show off.
