Awesome places as it has evolved from the 80s to now. Lots of activities and exhibitions to see, observes and experiences. Good fun for the whole family for at least half a day.
There's also roller coaster rides with different sceneries using VR (Virtual Reality) goggles at E3 @ Hall C. Shorter queues for various virtual rides at limited time range during off-peak season.
Kids' Cafe @ Omni Theatre c/o SCS; (hidden behind backdrop of KidsSTOP™ counter). Fried Macaroni (consisting of egg , meat, & mixed veg ) here is surprisingly appetizing , there's also other finger ;-)
Fantastic place for adults and kids alike. Be educated while you have fun coz almost everything here allows you to touch and feel to see how they work.
Experience a quake - a mild earthquake simulator at Science Centre Singapore, Hall B. Its considered mild shake if the kids could sit / stand in there for a few rounds during weekday off-peak session.
Never get bored of coming here. My favourite shows are the Tesla coil (even has musical like in the Sorc's Apprentice) and fire tornado show. Omni theater also has various shows for kids and youths
Carbon Targets interactive exhibit at Science Centre Singapore, Hall B. The kids could enjoy this shooting balls game for quite long during weekday off-peak session :-)
Wall decoration at Honey Bee Cafe at the Courtyard of Science Centre Singapore. Pleasant wall painting and pictures to brighten and liven up an otherwise plain wall at a corner.

Other than the McDonald's, there's lunch choices at its cafe at the Courtyard & also a simple Kids' Cafe where we had ice cream for dessert at KidsStop.

The Science Centre was born in from the then National Museum of Singapore into a separate institution so that the latter could specialise in its artistic and historical collections.

Probably worth a trip if You live in singapore but it's a little dated. Probably better for older kids than ours (4)
Get a haircut at the sound gallery ... Put on the headphones and the sound-operated hairstylist will cut your hair. Very cool and innovative!:)
Untamed Earth is the newest exhibition here! They have wind simulator and earthquake simulator that is built special for Singaporean.
Fun activities for the kids but I hope they upkeep the Centre better. Some of the displays are not functional and old.

Fun for families, avoid iZ Hero exhibit if you have young children.
Try the dome theatre first and then walk into the centre....
Don't forget to bring extra cloths for your kids since they would love to play around the Waterworks

Some exhibits are great but the Sea Monsters exhibit is a rip off.

We are regulars here but coming less now because they do not repair broken exhibits fast enough and often there is very slow queue management. Also a poor food and beverage situation...
Take 66 or 335 from Jurong East interchange. Only 3 stops away.
